  1. Christmas Story Monopoly http://tinyurl.com/29skmo Have not been there for a few weeks, but got mine for 22.99. Free shipping. Hope this helps.
  2. Wal Mart`s are getting rid of all fabric & scrapbooking. I did get alot of things around 75% off, when they did this. I get alot of my things on ebay. Have the best sales. I make cards too and have so many places that even Big R had some scrapbooking papers about the farms.
  3. I make wind chimes from some weird things. I went to tag sales and got some forks, knifes and spoons. Took one of the forks, pulled back the tines and made a loop. Then I took the knife as it was longer, drilled a hole @ the bottom (the thin part) took some white fishing line made a loop and added the knife in the middle. then i took 2 forks, 2 spoons and a butter knife, drilled holes in the part you hold on too. Then did the same thing with the fishing line. You are done. Also did this last year too, with the golf clubs. (these belonged to the X). Used a Michigan Wolverines blue golf ball that I drilled all the way threw. Tied it about 10 times, then used both hot glue and rubber cement glue on top and bottom of the ends. Cut the clubs with the copper wire cutter. Sorry do not know the real name for it. Then had the same fishing line, going thru 2 holes I made with the dremel. Tied them about 5 times each used the same glues. Love the sounds of both of them. My neighbor, said she hates wind chimes. But she did like the sounds of both of mine. I think I made 26 of the golf clubs, with different golf balls. But all golf balls were bad ones and different colors. Only got to make 14 of the silverware ones. But have more to make this year. thanks for all the ideas. JustJules
  4. The WM by me is always full. You have to wait in the lines, even tho all of the lanes are open. I am there 530am shopping. Get it done and out of there, before all the others get there. I went tonight with my neighbor. She needed to look at 4 things and found them all. They were re stocking the shelfs all over the store. As we were leaving, they asked how we did on shopping as did we find everything. I could not find one thing, the lady gave me a gift card for 10.00. Julie
  5. I got 10 for the different little ones. I have one left that is supposed to be for my son. But I already had to put in new batteries. My kid would never know, as he is almost 36, but he did see me playing with it and asked what it was so I showed him. Makes me think he would like to have one. But I will keep looking. Julie
  6. Last year we went on turkey day around 6pm, with chairs, fleece, food, water & soda, radio. Think there was about 30 of us, until around midnight then about 40 more joined us. Only thing we forgot was a potty. We got what we needed and were out of there within one hour, from the time we got inside and back out.

  15. Every Year my mom would make a ornament for us. The one year she made from the colored or white satin balls, taking a pix cutting it out in a circle. Then taking trim & beads around the pix, then all over the ball. In 1968 went sent Mike a small tree, with pix of his family and my family wired to the tree. He got it 8 days before christmas. He loved that tree and told everyone about it. Told who everyone was. When he was KIA in Feb 69, the tree came home with his other things. Think maybe that is why I loved the pix ornament. He and I were to be married. Got my ring on my grad from high school, 67.
