I am gonna kiss the snow as soon as I see it LOL ACK!!! Why is it that the people who don't have to deal with snow and cold love and miss it!?!?!?! You are all nuts!!! I would give anything to never see another snowflake in my entire life!
Cecilliadb Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 ACK!!! Why is it that the people who don't have to deal with snow and cold love and miss it!?!?!?! You are all nuts!!! I would give anything to never see another snowflake in my entire life!Hehe, I have no choice I HAVE to live here. This is our duty station Home is WA and UT and snow snow snow. I like dealing with it, shoveling walks, bringing in fire wood...I'll trade, my sun for your snow! I am visiting both halves of the family for two weeks and intend to shovel the walk every chance I get.
EliteABombAZ Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 I am glad I live in AZ. A hoody and jeans pretty much takes care of me on BF!
darianwiccan Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 What I found works really well is what I did last year when I stood out for five hours waiting to get WM laptop and it was about 0 degrees out. Go to walmart a few days ahead of time, and pick up 2 of the mylar emergency blankets from the camping section. Put on jeans or whatever, then wrap one of the blankets around your legs, then put on some sweats. Wrap the other one around you like a shawl, holding the ends down at your hands, then slip into your jacket. I swear, people around me were getting frostbite, and I was sweating!

Novac Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Perhaps you could find some at Overstock and then request a deal from Overstock Adam.
jellybean051901 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Do you find that once you get in the store and start peeling off the layers of clothes that they take up half your cart? I can't leave it all on when we are inside, I get so hot I feel like I'm going to die!I always shed my layers about fifteen minutes before the store opens and pu them in the car. That way I don't have all that extra stuff in my cart
