krstee Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Last year, I tried to take some pictures of the crazy lines at Walmart on BF but they were so long, the pix I took didn't do them justice. I was wondering if anyone else planned on taking pix of their crazy lines or crowds so they could share them here? For me, I may try again - but it all depends on where I end up shopping.

Every year you are in line and try to keep it that way, but those who were later in line rush you and try to grab them as the associates are passing them out. Its a mess. Although I go back every year!

jenilyn Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Check out this Best Buy video of Black Friday 2004: No joke my BB was worse I SWEAR!!!!! Its located next to a big barnes and noble that is roughly the same size and its like a quad of buildings , the back 2 being storage for each of those retailers. Did that make sense? Well anyway the line began thanksgiving day mid afternnoon and by 3 am BF morning it had wrapped around the building i think we counted 3 times. They let like 2 dozen people in at a time and there were several fights outside as ppl got impatient thru out the morning. We stayed CLEAR THE HELL AWAY from there.I had a ball everywhere else we went tho, last yr was my 1st BF trip and Id do it again each year, in fact myself, MIL and aunt and my best friend are having a sleep over at the MIL's this year, girls nite!!!! I cant wait already!!

I keep telling myself I will be prepared for my Official 1st Black Friday outing (last year was supposed to be it but... ) yet I'm not so sure, well actually I'm sure I'll be okay if I am at the front of the line. I'm a fast runner if/when needed.

BUT then I have announced to the whole of the populace that i have a very nice camera ( thanks to my DH on the bday!) whether on my person-or if I leave it in the car like 20 minutes before opening- then those same people know there is a very nice camera in a very nice truck parked _oh just 10 yards from where they are standing.... It's a conumdrum!
