BLKFRI Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I am confused on how to use the code. I have a Peacock subscription now. When I first started with a Peacock BF from a few years back. It renewed at a month to month payment and there was no option to pay by the year. Do, I cancel it now knowing that I will have it until the next payment is due on the 24th? Then start a whole new account or what? I tried adding it without doing anything and it said the code was incorrect. In the past they did not let you use BF codes on established accounts. Thanks!
Brad Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Seems like if you have the annual plan now it let you use the code to renew it for another year, but if you have the month-to-month plan you have to cancel and wait for the subscription to completely end for it to let you use the code. Or just use a new email address and make a new account. I had the $20 annual plan from last BF and was able to renew it for another year at the $20 promo price without canceling first. 1
BLKFRI Posted November 10 Author Posted November 10 Thanks Brad, I will just open a new account. Did not want to enter a new password on all the TV's
mrswinter Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Where do I get the code for this? I would love it for $20 a year 1
AuntJamelle Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Is the promo code something Peacock releases on Black Friday? I am thinking of setting a reminder to start checking on Thanksgiving Day. We recently canceled Peacock and a few other streaming services because we weren't really using what we were paying for. However, for a good annual price I would sign back up!

Guess I'll be reverting to previous email address that I used a couple years ago. Edited to add: I currently have the annual plan. So not just the monthly plan that isn't allowing use of the code. bluebear Posted November 12 Posted November 12 My husband had already canceled ours before it renewed. He wasn't able to use the code either. I may sign up under my email.
Suzy Crampton Posted November 12 Posted November 12 What is the code to use? I would love to use this for our subscription. TIA
Kanyon71 Posted November 13 Posted November 13 So even though it said it failed on my account and mine doesn’t expire until like July 25 I went and looked and it says my account will renew at $19.95 next July. So come renewal time I guess I will see if it actually works. 1

jesusluvu Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I was doing the monthly plan so I am going to try and see if it will take the yearly code I only got it for the Olympics....

the best mom Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Do you have to cancel your current annual subscription in order to get the 20.00 annual plan or a BF deal? Ours expires 11/26, and currently shows the renewal @ 79.99. I'm not sure how to proceed. Any and all help and/or tips are welcome!
wittenlover Posted November 22 Posted November 22 I cancelled mine, as it was due to renew tomorrow (11/22) at the $79.99 rate. Nope. Will try the code with a different email address at some point next week but there's nothing I currently need to watch on Peacock so I'm not missing anything in the gap at the moment.
wittenlover Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Update: I was able to renew with my existing (expired) email address using the deal that went live today. (REALDEAL code) Hooray!!! No need to establish a whole new account (and I missed nothing over the weekend because I was busy). Win! 1

It does say for restriction "new or former subscriber"
photographer Posted November 25 Posted November 25 It does have a restriction listed of "New or Former subscriber". So I would take that as if you are current you can not get offer
wittenlover Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Right. Mine was set to renew on 11/22, so I cancelled it and prepared to need to use a different email address (I actually have and actively use at least 3, so... options) when sale went live this week. Luckily, since I was now a "former" subscriber, I was able to re-up on my current email addy registered with Peacock for the deal.
lovnbargns Posted November 26 Posted November 26 It is now available for $19.99 per year. No code needed.
