I think some people who may not frequent the forum regularly may only come once a month to post here. If they come on the 1st, and this thread opened on the 4th and closes on the 30th, they missed the window. Since this thread was started on the 4th, could the sign up window be extended to the 4th of December? That way it’s the full 30 days? 4

Since this thread was started on the 4th, could the sign up window be extended to the 4th of December? That way it’s the full 30 days? When the prize club first started the window was even shorter, we only a few days to sign up as it had started After BF and sign ups were closed at the end of November. There are rules for a reason. and ask others they have done it themselves and posted in the wrong thread. post are checked in One thread every month and if you didn't post then there is nothing we can do about it. Every Year we end up with 50-70 people on the list at the start and by the time Brad mails the mystery gift out, there are less than 40 left. Just so nobody has to go searching, Posted on Nov 28 and closed at the end of the month for the very first Prize Club 1

stacya Posted December 3 Posted December 3 Happy December!! After her rough start at the first training camp of the season in Lake Placid, my luger rebounded and qualified to race in the Park City North American Continental Cup in Park City, Utah on December 14. She leaves for SLC a week from today. She will be away for 2 weeks, returning a few days before Christmas, before she is off to Lake Placid again on January 5, to race in the Lake Placid North American Continental Cup on January 18. Kendall will also be sliding doubles with her partner, Lilly, while in Park City, and they are the only women's doubles team at this level. Today's video is of our doubles team, Kendall and Lilly. Kendall is the top slider, as the smaller slider is always on the bottom. Messenger_creation_61984992-6505-4E67-860E-FDC5888F6D0B.mp4 1
lucyismycat Posted December 3 Posted December 3 December is off to a bang. We had 6 teenage boys over the weekend for a sleepover, and I'm not sure when I will recover. They all had a great time and are planning their next one with an eye toward inviting some extra kids. At some point I will run out of floor space, but I don't think they care. I need ALL of the deals in order to feed them! I have picked up knitting as my "sit and wait at the rink while they have practice" habit. In the last 10 days, I've finished 3 hats and went to the yarn store tonight to pick up some more. I might as well have something to do. I've spent all of 2024 picking up a room in our house each month. I'm happy to say that as of today, the house is decluttered and I have accomplished my goal of donating 40 large trash bags of clothing, shoes, coats, toys, books, sports gear, and random kitchen gadgets to local thrift shops. I'll start again in January with the master bedroom, with the goal of decluttering another 40 trash bags (one box) worth of stuff we don't need. I bet I can do it! Happy Holidays to all you GottaDealers! 3

speeddiva Posted December 4 Posted December 4 I think my shopping is done except for some candy for stockings. I still feel like I’m forgetting something though…sigh. 1

mgreen Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Ok, posting for December...so far so good, lol. Didn't really buy much for black friday...nothing really got my interest. Received my lovely t-shirt! It is so cool.
Bopeep Posted December 5 Posted December 5 My gift shopping is done, but I'm WAY behind on my candy making. I just haven't been able to find my want to. 3

I thought you were going to say you were way behind on shopping for yourself. Lol I haven't even started candy making yet. There are fewer people at home so it lasts longer and I don't usually make as much....so I put it off. 1

I have piles of baking to do but the "want to" just isn't there yet. I did, however, put myself on a bit of a clock for at least getting my much-loved peppermint brownies baked - sent out a "peppermint brownie advisory is now in effect" to two of my good buddies that most look forward to these and said they'd be available next week. Basically gave myself a kick in the tail to at least get things started. Best of luck finding your "want to" and give yourself grace if/when you don't. You've been through some things lately, to put it lightly. Those who love you will understand if the "want to" just doesn't come this year. 1 1

bluebear Posted December 7 Posted December 7 It took 7 days, but my house is decorated. 3 full days, then 4 nights after work. Whew! I'm taking tonight off, but wrapping will start tomorrow. I really need to start on my baking and candy making as well. But like others, I just can't get into it yet. It still seems too early for food stuffs. 2
bribri25 Posted December 8 Posted December 8 I got a good bit of wrapping done in the past 2 days. Still not even half, but a good start 1
