mom2thegirls Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 The teenager brought home some clothes for herself and her 6 year old sister last night from the Disney Outlet store at St. Louis Mills. She said everything was really cheap. Each item she got was $4.
kmbrly Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I love that mall! The Disney Outlet must be fairly new (in the past year anyway). The Mills Mall is where I used to get my pedicures done, hit the Nascar Store, lunch or dinner at either Fuzio's or Chevy's, and then take in a movie or two. We have the Sawgrass Mills down here, but I haven't been to it yet. I'm not much on huge crowded malls, and that's what I liked about St Louis Mills, never alot of people there.
mom2thegirls Posted September 3, 2006 Author Posted September 3, 2006 I'm not a mall type person. The teenager and her boyfriend go up there ( its a little far from our house ) when he gets one of his adult cousins or his sister to drive up there.
kmbrly Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 It was a little ways from where I lived too (I was out by Six Flags), but I would go there at least once a week. Every two weeks we did girl's day at the Mills. Pedicures and Fuzio's.... MmMmMmMmMm
Josher5513 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 According to The Mills Corp, St. Louis Mills is performing WAY below expectations.. Remember the hype over the place when it first opened? And now you go in, and you could be one of the only people in sight, even in the evenings... The Mills Corp is praying for a major residential boom around I-370 (where the mills is built) in order to stay in business.. If this doesn't materialize, don't expect our newest shopping center to stay afloat for much longer.. And when the net round of store leases are up, don't be surprised to see alot of new empty spots.. Luckily, the Mills Corp has contracts with some of the stores so they'll stick around no matter what (off 5th Avenue).. That being said, I love the design of St.Louis Mills, but most of the clothing selection is nill, which is why it's an outlet.. Sorry to get off-track. I love the Disney Store, so I think i'll make a trip out to visit soon :-)
timbermommy Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I went to StLouis mills last mo.. no disney store then! I also went when power was being restored slowly
ajburlingame Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I love the Childrens Place Outlet and the Carter's Outlet at the St. Louis Mills. It is a really long drive for me to get there so I only make it about twice a year. I did not know that they had a Disney Store. I will have to check it out next time I make it out that way.
rabx5 Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 OMG I'm so excited that I called to make sure it is true. The lady at the mall said it's not a true Disney outlet store, but it's a Disney Character Outlet- same freakin thing in my book. It's still over an hour drive, but I'm willing to sacrifice for Disney on the cheap

Josher5513 Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 I wouldn't count on too many residential places since the bottom grounds behind it are farm grounds and sod farms. And these farmers are looking to sell...
hpowers Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 And these farmers are looking to sell...Really? Are you one of them?????
Josher5513 Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Really? Are you one of them?????No, but my mother is a realtor who's representing alot of them. Nice comeback, though
hpowers Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 No, but my mother is a realtor who's representing alot of them. Nice comeback, thoughDon't know what you mean by comeback??? I happen to have a lot of family in that area. Maybe you should talk to your mother again.

kmbrly Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 The is (was) a Disney Store at Union Station, downtown St Louis. Sorry, never been to any of the other malls, except for the Galleria and Mills. maybe they didn't list the Mills because according to this quote, it's not really a true Disney Store. Who knows. OMG I'm so excited that I called to make sure it is true. The lady at the mall said it's not a true Disney outlet store, but it's a Disney Character Outlet- same freakin thing in my book.
sky_scraper123 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 We went to the Mills and got some awesome deals on all types of items, We love the place and it was worth the 20 min drive
MaddynAllysMom02 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I havent been to the Mills in about a year, but there is a Disney Store at Crestwood. If that helps anyone. You can usually find good deals there throughout the holiday season. Thats one of the few remaining stores at Crestwood too, they are losing leases like crazy.
