I just called .. was told to bring in the ad to get this price ..nothing was mentioned about a price mistake ..

I called my local Sears and they said that it was a pricing mistake, and that the correct price was $99. They did not say anything about honoring the ad price. :-(

Take the ad to Walmart. They will pricematch.

yes it's todays' newspaper print ad.. I got it .. the sales clerk was so nice .. he said what ever it says is what you get ..WOW I scored big on this one.. happy camper for me.. I was LUCKY !!

I asked at our Walmart and the guy said no way! You might have better luck, I had the ad with me too....

Ok, what did I do wrong, I took to our Walmart and the guy in the electronics said no way were they going to honor it. He said because it is so off the price that mgmt wouldn't go for it???? I asked him about the policy of price matching and he said that they will reduce on computer type stuff only 10%? I don't get it, isn't price matching price matching? Why have the policy, he said it was probably a misprint, well maybe but he didn't call anyone or check into it? Should I have got one and gone up front? Strange, I even called Kmart to see if they honor Sears ads, we have a Sears store but its small and doesn't carry much more than appliances.

My guess is you have to find that employee who doesn't care looks at the ad and says ummm ok

Was this in the flyer with the Jeans on the front/red cover? That seems to be the only Sears ad in my Sunday paper -- for the "local" sears at the mall an hour away. Didn't see the hard drive in that flyer.

I went to one Sears and they would not honor it... going to try another one on Thursday

I went to a Sears and they were already aware of the error and the Walmart I went to refused to price match it as well.
