Brad Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Best strategy seems to be spending it on items that you can't use coupons on anyway (brands like Nike, electronics, etc...), as they would take the value of the Kohl's Cash off your total before applying any % off coupon. For that reason, Kohl's Cash seems to have about an 80% resale value on eBay and elsewhere, because you can't use coupons like today's 20% off on the part of your total the Kohl's Cash pays for.
bluebear Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I had $90 to spend. I did partly what you mentioned, used it on a pair on Converse for the grandson. The rest I used on a step 2 train table that I really wanted to get at Kohl's because they had an exclusive color and extra trains, and it would never go on a low enough sale! Cost of train table: $94.99 Discounts applied $94.75. And the $25 converse got me the free shipping. I also had a $20 GC that I received Saturday from a Keurig rebate. 1
Tara3117 Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I didn't buy a ton from Kohl's this year, so I only got $15. I'll probably just buy clothes for my sons. I usually do a lot more shopping at Kohl's on Black Friday but I had much more luck with Target this year for some reason.

Was going to get on of their deals that had in excess of $100 in Kohl's cash but we ended up getting another deal from another store that had a gift card. Was less money back but it's a store we shop at a LOT more so it's more likely that it will get used. I think with what we bought we only have about $15 from them this year.
HanShotFirst Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I had $15 to spend from an earlier shopping spree so I applied that to my BF order. Earned another $15 last week that I spent on a Fiesta Ware teapot. Been wanting one of those for years! Can't wait to get it. 3
bribri25 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Have $115 to spend from various $50 orders and courtesy $5 KC from cancelled in-store pickup orders. DW and I are taking the kids separately to pick out something for their sibling and other parent. Also now need a few other things that have since snuck on family's lists. Also have $50 in gift cards still, in case we exceed the allotted KC.

Also have $50 in gift cards still, in case we exceed the allotted KC. We have to take my older one out to pick out something for his little brother. Seems like it's going to be a struggle since every time I mention getting presents for other people, he tells me that Santa is bringing him a gas station. (Which Santa purchased with Kohl's cash last month, actually...) 2
HansieDZ Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Spent most of my $135 KC on gifts for people I got from tags off the Giving Tree at our church. 1

HanShotFirst Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Got my Y2U reward email this morning. Got a Happy Birthday $10 card in the mail yesterday for my December birthday and 25% off through 12/5. Looks like I'm going shopping again. LOL 2

freesia39 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 It was stressful yesterday to spend the $15 in Kohl's cash I had, and I still had to add chocolate to make it $15. But when you find something for only $4.00 on the clearance rack...
Kanyon71 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Ended up using mine on buying a comforter and sheets for my b-i-l, ended up getting another $10 in Kohl's cash buying that lol.
Dyva247 Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 I used my $30 in KC to buy a leather bracelet for hubby. With the discounts I had to only pay for shipping as I did not have enough for free shipping with the discounts.
