Brad Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I know some of you look forward to this each year, haha. Just got (via email) the Walmart legal letter. The physical copy should be here any day now as well. Black Friday season has officially started 15
Kanyon71 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 The season is now truly upon us. Walmart has once again not disappointed. I keep hoping every year much like the other scrooge that their heart will grow three sizes.
kayray Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Since it has been unseasonably warm here, I needed this to make the season feel real. Thank you Walmart 1
racerfan Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 It's official. The season has started. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using GottaDeal mobile app
bribri25 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Does it state that you can release their ad whenever you feel like it?Does it talk about them continuing their poor customer service? I wonder if at this point, they just put the title at the top in corporate letterhead and type "You know the drill. For additional details, please reference last year's letter."
magickallight Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Come on Walmart... show us your... http://under30ceo.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Black-Friday-sale.jpg
julz0420 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Tis the season for threatening lettersfa la la la la, la la la la
riven3d Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 its not the BF season with the letter from them
tracy0504 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Ahhh, nothing like the threat of a lawsuit to open up the BF season...let the leaking of the ads commence!!!! Sent from my SM-G930V using GottaDeal mobile app
redraccoon Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Oh, the annual tradition is right on time ... lol
dorsettmama Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 I am eagerly awaiting thwir ad! Please lord let them have something worth standing line for!
Bopeep Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 I know when they first started sending the letter, you had to take down the leaked ad. Then, of course, you started getting the letter before you got the leaked ad. I'm just curious, do you still get the leaked ad since they started releasing it early themselves? 1
julz0420 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 IIRC, he gets the ad straight from walmart (possibly from others that happen to catch a peek and send it on not realizing he cant post it) and in turn for their "kindness" he waits until the date they give him to release it.
premiumchip Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 It wouldn't be the Black Friday season without a legal letter from Walmart. Now, where's their BF ad? Come on Walmart spill the beans
marias0523 Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 We all know tv will be on sale but an electronics associate told me this year will be the best tv deal ever. I couldn't get anymore out of him lol I tried! 1
Midnight55 Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I just saw a preview of Walmart black Friday ad online it posted 49 mins ago Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using GottaDeal mobile app
Brad Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 Technically I posted the WM ad before WM gave the official OK. Such a rebel 4
amani Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Technically I posted the WM ad before WM gave the official OK. Such a rebel I look forward to this every year! I laugh each time! Rebel with a cause!!

Brad Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 They still haven't actually said we could post it, but considering it's on their site, that's enough of an OK for me. I also got a letter from the same lawyers about the Sam's Club ad - days after the ad was posted on the Sam's Club web site. Those lawyers are sure earning that $$$. 1
Kanyon71 Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 They get paid by the character in the letters.
bribri25 Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Glad to see they haven't made you take it down, yet.
jaymacfla Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 From the looks of the ad, perhaps we need to send them a spooky letter demanding a reprint!
Kanyon71 Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I think we should send them a letter demanding they try harder next year. 3
Kash Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Yahoo the letter!!! It's better than Christmas eve because you never know what day it will officially happen. LOL
