Brad Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Black Friday falls on November 25th next year, exactly one month before Christmas. Is it just me, or will the ads suck next year? 8
bribri25 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 What is Best Buy waiting for?? C'mon leaked ads!!! We need a big one. 1
HanShotFirst Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Bah ha ha ha!! I've already got a list going!
Brad Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 We'll have a new president-elect by next BF. Maybe he or she will make Thanksgiving openings unconstitutional 4
Bopeep Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 We'll have a new president-elect by next BF. Maybe he or she will make Thanksgiving openings unconstitutional The first one that promises to do so will get my vote. 1
bribri25 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Surprisingly that hasn't been one of the heated topics at any of the debates...
Nate Dogg Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Have you received the Walmart letter for 2016, yet? 1
bribri25 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 It's not officially BF season until you do...
Brad Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 Have you received the Walmart letter for 2016, yet? Considering they've used the exact same letter for the last 4-5 years, yeah, basically I already have it.
2chia Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 This topic is funny but I will join, too For 2016, I hope Amazon go back to their BF style from 2014. Movie/ CD/Game calendar early 2 weeks ahead and not a messy lightening deal format . 3
Kanyon71 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I'm pretty sure next year all the stores are going to go to 24x7 BF sales starting the day after the 4th of July. All the sales will probably be horrible and there WILL be fights at Walmart. 2
kranky Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 At the rate things have been going, it won't be long before it's called Black October. 1
Nate Dogg Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I remember when Walmart put some of their door busters on sale a few days early. Everyone was shocked. Now everyone is like meh.
Kash Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I'm hoping that since they are extending Black Friday into more than just awesome sales starting Friday morning (like in the ol' days) that they will actually start competing and producing great sales in order to attrack us again.
dragonballnutts Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Bestbuy will have a 4K TV for $299! Better line up now. 1
bribri25 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 And 16K TVs and quad band routers will be all rage.
mcwalker Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 We'll have a new president-elect by next BF. Maybe he or she will make Thanksgiving openings unconstitutional Illegal would be fine with me, or if they could just get all the heads of the big retailers in a room (like they did with the directors of the big banks in 2008) and threaten legislation if they can't all agree to stay closed on Thanksgiving (and waive the anti-collusion regulations for this one purpose). 1
ytmomof4 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Can't wait thanks to finding out about swagbucks this year I'm ready for next year 1
tinkrbel Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 considering the Prime Day tv is already acting up, I'm thinking new tv for next year or possibly super bowl time...
tjhollis Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 considering the Prime Day tv is already acting up, I'm thinking new tv for next year or possibly super bowl time... Is that the 32" Roku smart?
riven3d Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Is that the 32" Roku smart? no they are talking about Prime Day which was back in July
tinkrbel Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Is that the 32" Roku smart?lol.....no its a seiki, I should have known better but for the price couldn't help myself. As luck would have it the POC started having issues about a week after I tore the box into small pieces and threw into recycling bin. Thankfully, I just called and it seems to be a pretty straight forward replacement through warranty. I just emailed them back with pics requested and copy of the receipt and if need be SquareTrade will cover any return shipping.I finally had time to test it this morning, wanted to make sure it wasn't user error or remote issues etc before calling up and wasting time. If i see a cheap 32" 1080p decent brand will probably snap it up although I could probably just swap the one in spare room to kitchen and then swap for a few days a year when we actually have visitors. Its not like LCD's weigh anything
tjhollis Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Lol! Well good, I hope everything gets straightened out for you.
