  1. At the rate things have been going, it won't be long before it's called Black October.
  2. I just looked at 4 electronics items, going to kmart through the link Brad posted, and they all came up with the BF price.
  3. I don't do very much printing but she wanted something that she could use to print from her iPad and Surface Pro wirelessly, so we recently bought an HP Envy 5660 at Best Buy for $89. My old printer still worked (an HP 810c inkjet that is 12 years old!) but we needed wireless printing. We can even email documents to it to be printed. Can automatically print double-sided. Very pleased with it so far.
  4. 1. Best Buy employee repairs a breach in the security fence that keeps BF campers away from normal people. 2. They said "Limit one TV per cart" .. but they didn't say one cart per person! 3. Holiday gift recipients react to the news that the return counter will only be staffed for the next 10 minutes.
  5. Review in first post. If they made ones that could be machine washable, we'd jump on those. In the meantime we're going to avoid putting raw meat in them unless they are in another bag.
  6. I see some on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Scarlett-Joanne-Whalley/dp/B00005N912 and some on ebay http://www.ebay.com/bhp/scarlett-dvd
  7. Guess someone has to be the guinea pig so I ordered them and will let y'all know how they work.
  8. My wife's interested to know if anyone has used these and how they liked them. She has a bunch of reusable shopping bags but none of them can be closed or stand up in her SUV and she would like those features. Our driveway is on a slope and it's not uncommon for stuff to want to fly out as soon as she opens the tailgate. Here's what I'm talking about: https://www.grabbag.com/ Update: we've used the bags three times. They are light and fold down pretty small when not in use . The material seems to be nylon. Handles are sturdy nylon webbing and reinforced with extra stitching. There is a thin cardboard bottom inside the bag that helps it stay upright. It does hold a lot of groceries. I'd say you could get 4 or 5 plastic grocery bags of stuff inside one (weight permitting). There is a flap that can be folded over the top and secured to the side with Velcro to seal it. They are not machine washable but can be wiped down. I would avoid putting raw meat in one unless it was inside another bag as it would be kind of tough to give the inside a good scrub down, and you wouldn't want to get the cardboard bottom saturated. They have plastic handles that hook over the sides of the shopping cart to hold the bag open in your cart if you want to, but I don't see the need unless you wanted to put two in your cart and keep stuff separated for some reason. They do great at staying upright in back of the SUV when parked on a slope and that's the problem we wanted it to solve. We'll see how long they hold up.

    Super Saturday

I wasn't shopping but the traffic on the main road where all the shopping is was terrible, and a local TV station had a segment on the news about the madhouse crowds this weekend.
  10. Might be http://forums.gottadeal.com/topic/235827-2014-holiday-gift-card-bonuses/ but you'll have to check to see if the offers have expired.
  11. I think they expire in 14 days after being issued.
  12. Sorry, man, I know you were hoping.
  13. What did they do, keep the thing in a bank vault all this time?
  14. Our church collects gifts for single moms at a local homeless shelter, then we deliver them with cookies and have a short Christmas program with music and singing. It's tough because we have a lot of people who would cheerfully buy really nice (=big) toys - but due to their living circumstances the gifts need to be physically small. We also bump up our giving at Christmas.
  15. Doorbusters await I fear I will not get mine Yell “Fire!”, run to front. A new guy cuts line Minutes before opening Sorry, that brick slipped.
  16. First BF ad I've ever seen that has barbed wire.
  17. Here's Brad's comment on this topic from another similar thread...
  18. I'm no expert on tablets but I think it's not unusual to have SIM card slots on tablets.
  19. Poor Brad, like he needed that to happen. No rest for the weary!
