bovichtj Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Great deal, but too bad they don't have a store pickup option... shipping is $6.95 Joanne
conj Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 You might be able to find them at the store. Target had the fantastic 4 one down to 4.99 at the store...
Great Dane Mom Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Thanks. I bought a spongebob and frogger one. The code worked too! These are good to stick inside your suitcase on vacation for rainy days (if you don't let the kids play with them all the time at home) and let them play in your room instead of blowing lots of quarters in the arcade.
billykub Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 They have them in the store for the same price if you can get to one.
lilquiet Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I just bought 3 from the store. 2 different sponge bob plug and plays and one dora. For $4.99 a piece! Thanx for the heads up. :)
lafevem Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 For those of you who purchased in the store, did you have any problem? My Kohl's doesn't have them marked down, and says they have not heard of the 4.99 price. UGH!
lilquiet Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I didn't have any problems in the store. It was marked $24.99, but when i test scanned them they were $4.99.
ghostkitten Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 They only work on NTSC...I would have Loved to send a heap to Australia but we use the PAL and NOTHING I buy from here in the states work on the Auzzie Tv system
Firemansgal311 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 These are some great things, HoHo brought my kids some for Christmas and they love them. And an FYI: the will work on the portable dvd systems as well, we took our three with us to Tenn and the kids played them in the van.
erica Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Ack. So do I understand that if I brought my digital Canon PowerShot overseas, and plugged it into a TV there using the yellow & white connectors, that that's not gonna work either? (Apologies for getting a bit off-topic here.)that's no problem, you can do that fine. The only problem is the power adaptor, remember to use the one with the correct voltage, here in the US we use 110V, but in europe or Asia, it's 220V. So you need power converter/tranformer.
erica Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Thank you OP, I got 2 of them in the store, disney & sponge bob. Even better the deal!!
bravesrule62382 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 All my Kohl's had left was Madden I wanted Frogger
miller205 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 ONly Spongebob and Disney left. i should have jumped on these when i first saw the post.
erica Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 But these plug-n-plays run on double-A batteries. So I think based on the above, the plug-n-plays should work overseas. Is that the "Final Answer"? :)"yes", FINAL ANSWER.
lindabacker Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I managed to find the Disney one in my local Kohls today for 4.99 and also I found the 2 player tetris plug and play game on clearance for 6.99 there.
