AndreaInNC Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Well they are not giving rainchecks on the PVDs, BUT they did adjust the prices I paid for the PVDs I had bought back when the TRU deal for the player was $14.99. So I ended up getting back 1/2 on all the discs I bought! My store was wiped out tho .. so is their website ..
Gumball Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Meijer here has barely anything left and for some reason, Walmart has the Video Now Jr. PVD's in a separate aisle from the other ones but they still didn't have much left to pick from. Same with Target. Dunno if Kmart has anything or not since the store here is kinda crappy with a tiny toy dept. that's right next to the seasonal stuff. I've run out of places to look at here in town.

AndreaInNC Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I went to TRU today and found more than I have ever seen in one store .. disc and accessories. Apparently, the stores I have been in have the displays in 2 different areas. The one in the front of the store is wiped out .. the other display in the electronics part has way more stuff. I was able to get the car converter, the headphones, 7 different discs and the media kit thingy. Woohoo!

Basically the only diff is the rubberized outside & bigger buttons.

AndreaInNC Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I think that the B&W players will only play the B&W discs .. which you can't find now. Check your local TRU if you want the media thingy .. both of mine got some in yesterday.
