dealluvr Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 i got a sandisk mp3 player black friday.best buy now is having a promotion where if you buy certain mp3 players, mine was included, you get a free 50 dollar gift card. think i could show them my receipt and i would get a gift card now?probably not i guess
shanni Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Did you get it cheaper on BF than it is right now? And you could always try to return the MP3 player and just rebuy to get the gift card. I have returned anything in a BestBuy so I know nothing about their return policy.
dealluvr Posted December 12, 2005 Author Posted December 12, 2005 yeah i can't complan i got it for cheap so i mught as well suck it up! i guess they's probably say this promotion is now!
msomnipotent Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 They have a 30 day price match, but I don't know if it includes freebies. It never hurts to ask, though. I bought the $39.99 Sandisk on BF and then a 1GB Sandisk the other day for $80. Neither were part of the new promotion, but I had every intention of getting that gift card if they had been.
ebony0421 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I would ask especially since a gift card is involved.

I bought three of these bf.
happyrat Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Best Buy is usually good about that. I have bought products before (not on bf, cellphone to be specific) and they had a free gift card offer a week or two latter, and they gave it to me. It was mail in, and they reprinted the receipt with a new date and everything. Always ask. The worst they can say is no.
grapico Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 yeah if you try let us know, too far away for me to bother with it, also got the sandisk, they would probably just ring you up at the real price though which is 89.99 I think, so probably would come down back to 39.99 lol.
captkorea Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Best buy wont. They don't any type of "price matching" if it was a part of the black friday sale.
dtdoda Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 What about an on-line purchase? My wife bought someone (!) one of these for his workouts on-line a the first week of December. What are the odds of Best Buy giving her the gift card if she went to the store?
