EliteABombAZ Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I missed out on the 3 for $1.99 on BF at Walgreens. Any other places have any good deals on wrapping paper?
queenofshopping Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 i just got a very heavy 200 sq ft roll from walmart for $5...not the best quality tho, very hard to cut through smoothly costco has the best value rolls...expensive ($8-10) but endless, if you dont mind wrapping everything in the same paper for years to come
mjmcca Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 This week taget has their rolls that come with bows for 7.88 I think.
alimfp Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 If you are desperate, the dollar store. I haven't bought any paper this year, but they usually have it. :)
magickallight Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I got most of mine from The Dollar Tree - 40 square feet for $1.00 - not as great as Walgreens Deal - but I nabbed some of that, too.
laffnatu Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 The Dollar Tree is where I get mine too. I did get a few of the Walgreen deals also. But the Dollar Tree is the best for bags, bows and paper usually.
laffnatu Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 You better hurry up though. You will get stuck with the "ugly" paper..lol. This is from everyone picking over the pretty stuff. :)

Vickis3js Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I just hit the Dollar Tree on saturday and they had some really cool paper for a $1!. They even had some Strawberry Shortcake, Mickey mouse, Winnie the Pooh and Sesame street paper. Heck I was even able to nab some pretty cool Hanukkah paper as well. I also love Walmart's paper that benefits St. Judes hospital. Vicki
Mommie2one Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I buy mine at Marcs. Everyday price is 100ft roll for .97 (lowered the price). I bought Dora paper, Blues Clues, Grinch, 3 rolls of non-character paper, and Disney Princess
scrappynik Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Walgreens has some 2/$3 Dollar tree has some really nice paper too (lots of character paper too!)
crix101 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I am doing brown paper this year. You can get a roll of it at the mail store or packing place for cheap. I am tying the packages with raffia and little ornaments. Also using plain red paper for some variety. They are beautiful and very inexpensive.

A Young Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I bought mine at albertsons! They had 100sq feet for $3.99, buy one get one free so I paid $2.00 a roll cute prints too!!! *A*
Gporter34 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I use plain brown shipping paper, .99 cents a roll, and I got some red and white striped paper at Hobby Lobby to add a little color. I love Hobby Lobbys paper. It is easy to cut, thick enough not to tear too easy, and lasts a long time!LOL
Guest Deals4Me Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I used winetags galorethis year. I have 40 some roles and about 2 bucks outta pocket!
sheli Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Wal-Mart had 88 cent paper just 2 days ago.....

I love their wrapping paper but never take the time to try to do it myself.Thank you! I found mini ornaments at Walmart tonight for 2.96 for 10. They are small pinecones and wreaths. I also bought a bag full of bells to hang on the ribbon. I found red and green and natural raffia and am tying my packages with that. They look so nice. Im proud of myself this year, as I never do this kind of thing. I am usually one to throw what ever together at the last moment.
happyrat Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Have not bought wrapping paper in 7 years. Stocked up for 10cents a roll at Kmart one year. Still have plenty.

I like to let the kids draw on it and make their own wrapping paper. Makes really unique paper. Plus it keeps the kids busy while they are doing it.

happyrat Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I hate to sound cheap, but why not Saran plastic wrap?? It comes in 5 or 6 colors or at least it used to, and most stores carry it.
