I think its great they are stying closed on Thanksgiving (I'm not against stores being open, I just love how they didn't do it because they felt pressured).

As for the ad, I saw a couple good things, but nothing I would be upset about not getting.  Though I do like those heaters.

Wow, we've never gotten the ad this early!  It's always one of the last to come in.  It's a tradition to wait in line at Menards.  I've got my eye on a few things, the Webkinz, fleece blankets, coupe other things.

Did I forget to remove the PDF? Oops. I blame it on being tired because Fedex woke me up around 6:30 this morning with their legal letter...

Menards has put up store maps on their website. Just put in your zip code and it will show you where Black Friday items will be located.  Funny as Mine is almost all in sections 1,2, and 5. Thankfully my husband daughter are going too so we all will take a section!

They handed these maps out to us last year, or the ones towards the front.  It's very helpful to have, plus they have balloons at alot of the items.  I do notice they dont have the Webkinz on their map, but I'm guessing they'll be in area 1 or 2.  I'll be close enough at the front of the line to ask the workers to be sure.  Silly I'm going to stand in the freezing cold for silly stuffed animals...well a few other silly things too.

Menards in Massillon so crazy and crowded that they shut down the southbound lane on Route 21 which is a highway!  I had 2 ladies follow me to my vehicle asking me to let me give them my cart. They got in huge verbal argument about who asked first. I just emptied my cart and pushed it towards them. God only knows who won. Got in my car. LOL

Heres what I scored:   $49 heater,  Dog Bed, Dog toys, Cookie pan set, aromatherapy animals (got them last year and loved them so had to get the other animals offered) , aromatherapy slippers (daughter bought the giraffe ones. Too cute), wax starter kits x 2 with TONS of refills to last us for awhile, faux suede pillows, popcorn tin, giant snickers bar (husband 'had to have'), wrapping paper, socks, and webkinz.

Scored the 18 gun safe. Good price. Got it all set up yesterday too. Lots of people using trash cans as carts as carts were in short supply.

Kicking myself for not picking up the $49 heater!  I was within the top 75 in the store so no reason why I shouldn't have gotten one, except it wasn't initial on my to buy list.  I got all sorts of goodies and was out in 20 minutes with people waiting or my cart and parking spot.  I went back about 4 hours later with my son and bought a few more little things, heaters were all gone though.  It was still very busy.

Our store probably has the $1.44 blankets left, one big box of them was hidden, in fact I was the first person to dig through them, about 5 minutes into opening and when we went back hours later the box was almost full still.  Very weird as those usually go right away!
