crix101
After all the talk about price adjusting prior to blackfriday at Target, I headed there on Weds with my list in hand. When I went back to the toy section there sat a Doodle bear with the mini bear included. It was the only one in sight. I grabbed it up and walked up to the front, just to verify the price adjust rumors. The lady behind the counter said "No, we are not price adjusting for the two day sale." I was really irritated as I got three different responses when I asked some other employees. I sat my cart in clothing and went to the car to call the manager as he was out to lunch for 15 more minutes. When I got him on the phone he said "Yes, we will price adjust". I rushed into the store and my basket was gone. I searched high and low for the doodle bear and couldnt find it. I gathered all my other items and checked out. My total came to 195.00. On Friday evening I went back to have my reciept price adjusted. When I got to the counter they again told me sorry they were not adjusting on the two day sale. I nearly had a stroke. I asked to speak to the manager and he was not there that day. I raised a hell of a stink and the on call lead person came up and eventually adjusted my ticket. It was sooooo irratating. I didnt get the doodle bear and was told that they didnt even stock the bonus sets that morning. I guess I had seen the last and only one. Oh well, lesson learned. Wait in line like everyone else! After price adjustment I saved 75.00, so it was certainly worth it in the end.
Guest all2tired
Sorry you went through all of that and lost the bear in it too. Happy that you got your adjustments though
nat1jen
Sorry that you had a bad experience. I only needed one price adjustment for a dvd, and I got one with no problems. I also luckily found all the items that I wanted on Friday night. Did you ever talk to the manager again?

AndreaInNC
We must shop at the same Target. I went in Friday morning asking for a price adjustment and was told no by the cust service person and the manager. They both said they don't price adjust on 2 day sales. Well guess what .. according to Target's customer service department they are - unless it is a "special purchase" item. I called Target's 800 number to complain about my local Target and ended up with a $10.00 Target gift card as a goodwill gesture. They promised to call my Target store and speak to management about price adjusting. And the 800 number told me they will price adjust up to 90 days ! noaimhere
Ah, sorry. I had a great experience- went in at 10 am and picked up 3 of the 9inch portable DVD players - my friend was along since they had a 2 max on those. I thought they'd be all out but they weren't. ebony0421
I wonder why this is happeneing over and over. There is a lack of communication from the managers to the assistant managers to the sales associates. I hope they get it together and soon.
