That's a lot of $$. Thankfully I was able to get TRU gift cards and web certificates from MyPoints so that I was able to get just about everything I needed. There were only a few items left to get and I got them on BF

I think we are over 2,000 on Christmas...We spend a ton on Christmas each year. We like to think of Chrstimas like crazy times because you just don't know who will get to be there with you next year to celebrate too! The voices in my head say buy buy buy ;)

We usually spend that, if not a little more, every year. This year I was lucky enough to have earned a bunch of free GC's from various promo's plus to be honest, my heart just isn't into Christmas this year so....although I am not done shopping yet- I think my total will be around $850 this year for 14 people.

Well, it depends on your income...for me, that's an insane amount of money and I won't be spending anywhere near that much on my kids, dh, and all relatives combined. I can't picture you as a college student making more than we're pulling in, but I don't know. The Army doesn't pay much. ;)

You're definitely quite generous!

Are you including your BB bucks and other discounts in that total, or is that $1500 all out of pocket?

Okay I feel better now, knowing that I'm not the only one who went a bit nuts. We have spent 1200 on kids (our three and two neices) and little stuff for me and dh. Still have 100 left to spend on family and one big thing for dh.An ipod.
