mackeeg Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Hubby decided not to do the $250 AOL deal with laptop yesterday because of the long line. Do you think they will credit his card if he went back and signed up now?
Ziptar Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 Worth a try, I saw something on one of the flyers at CC that said "Must be activated in store" but it didn't say "at time of purchase". I don't see why they coulkd do a return and re-ring it and have him sign up for AOL.
ebony0421 Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I would speak with the store manager and just tell them that he'd been in the store waiting for hours and couldn't wait any longer. If you are nice, they will probably understand and do it.
Josher5513 Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 It's not possible now. If you read the fine print on the AOL rebate, it says offer only good on 11/25 and 11/26, so it's expired now.

blackfridayadd Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I am wandering if I can get out of my AOL deal ? I payed for the aol, but when the receipt printed it didnt have some bar code on there for them to scan, after about 20 minutes of trying to fix this to no avail, they just typed in that I payed 250 more than what I actually paid. so my receipt shows like 654.89 where I actually only gave them 404.89 after the router & other stuff was added.

They might just do it in your case.
allystl Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 Hey blackfridayadd please let us know if that works - your cancel w/Aol/. Good Luck!
grapico Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I don't think so b/c of the 25/26 thing, it is a promotion circuit city always runs with aol, but for 125. so if you want free aol or something, then you can still get the 125, but aol had it doubled on black friday.
mackeeg Posted November 27, 2005 Author Posted November 27, 2005 I could care less about AOL, I just want the $70 difference.
