happysunshine28
This was the first time I went to walmart first on black friday, got their at 4am hardly no one was there. They had a table when you walked in with the ad two printoffs and a store map that had numbers where the blitz items were located. The TV's and pool table had to be picked up in the back, they gave you a paper with bar code so you could check out with that then go pick it up around back. I was out of walmart and around back at 5:11. Plus the 23 inch tv was only $88 our ad said $98 what a great suprise. The lady behind me in line worked there and said last year was the first year they did a map, she was standing in line to get a tv also poor thing had to work later that day. Most I have read were horror stories about walmart being unorganized, the walmart in Cookeville, TN was great and well organized. Best store I shopped at friday. Did your walmart have the map? Lightning_
I wish my Walmart at least had a clue!!!!!! I bet that was with thier map, organization, and customer service which was somewhere else this year. I am so glad that you had a good experience. It is about time we hear a Walmart did the right thing. The only thing is that this is one out of how many stores? They should take example from yours. Mommie2one
I was at my Walmart by 2am. ALL BF Blitz items were out on pallets across the front of the registers. Even at 2am, we were allowed to take all BF 5-11am items into our cart, just have to wait till 5am to checkout. Laptops were the only thing NOT available at that time (they held those back and passed them out at 5am). Very orderly
happysunshine28
They made everyone stay in front cops were there to keep people back until someone made an anouncement that it was 5:00.

decafmom
There were maps at my WM too, but you couldn't put the blitz items in your cart until 5am, which was no big deal to me since I wanted the Gameboy and they didn't have those out until 5am anyway. I had an excellent experience there.
Mommie2one
I was super surprised when at 2am, they made an annoucement that you could take what you wanted from the pallets but can't checkout till 5am. Pallets of all the BF items (everything from toys to the $398 desktop computers) were available for your cart. The only 2 things you had to wait for were the GameBoy Sps and laptops. Other than that, it was fair game. All the pallets were wide open and no tarps/wrap on them
Gporter34
Our WM was great this year in the way that they handled everything. It was the customers who were awful. In the past our WM has been awful. I went super early to check things out and they told me at 6pm Thursday that the laptops would be first come first serve and that they only had 15. They also told me to feel free to get in line whenever I wanted to. So, I decided it was worth staying for. All night they were placing pallets around the store and letting us knkow where everything was. Then at 5am the place turned into a war zone!!!LMAO

mtjoycol
styronbond: My sister lives in Turnersville! She doesn't go to that walmart though. She goes to Target. I wish we had a target where I live. I'm out in the sticks and have NOTHING around me! HA!
ryka
I wish we had a 24 hour Wm here. I got there at 3:55 and it was like 20 degrees. This was my first time at WM on BF and will probably be my last. It was crazy. I did get everything I wanted except the cabbage patch but I got one of those at target later on in the day (not a newborn and I paid 19.99 for it) and the 3 piece pjs. I just forgot to look for them.

There were only a handful of people wandering around at 2am so we were able to get everything we wanted. About 4am the place was packed.
