  2. Great time to stock up on wrapping paper
  3. The only stuff I have left is my online orders that should come next week. Santa's presents won't be wrapped since we'll have them set up for Christmas morning (Hobby Horse, train set & table)

    Disorganized!!!

Ours didn't give out maps. You had to flag down an employee and they would look on their map & tell you what pallet you needed to stand by.
  5. I'm wondering if the people that were trying to order online when the WM site crashed, just said the heck with it figuring all of the doorbusters would be gone by then if they went to the store. I think all of us saw a decreased number of shoppers at Walmart this year.
  6. This story aired on my local news tonight - Link "A warning to thousands of shoppers already swarming stores: Make sure you get what you pay for....literally. Because what happened to a Perryville, Missouri couple says happened to them, could easily happen to you. The Rittenberg's dished out more than $1,500 for a new video camera but were served spaghetti sauce instead. Now they have a one big credit card bill, no camera, and no idea if they'll ever see that money again. "I pulled out the camera, or what I thought was the camera, but it's Classico Spaghetti Sauce. $1,500 spaghetti sauce," Jim Rittenberg said. Melisa and Jim Rittenberg say it all started when they went to exchange a video camera at a St. Louis Best Buy store. Jim decided to buy a more expensive model. So, he paid the difference and left the store. But, when he opened the box there was no camera to be found. Instead he got some pasta sauce, a phone cord, and an outdoor outlet cover. The items weighed just over a pound and a half. That's about the same as the High Definition Sony Camera that was no where to be found. Melisa says at least the expensive sauce is covered. "With an extended warranty and a camera bag to put it in," said Melisa. You have to find humor in it because what else can you do!" The couple went back to Best Buy to try and sort out the mess. "They said there was no way it could have happened in the store because the Sony sticker on the box wasn't cut," Melisa said. "I would just like a replacement camera. If not that, then replace my money," said Jim. So far, no one can be sure when or how the sauce got in the box. The Rittenberg's say the issue is far from resolved. But as we head into the busy shopping season, the couple offers some advice to their fellow consumers. "If you're purchasing anything without a window on the box you need to open it at the store with the sales person present," said Melisa. "Because, after you leave the store it's yours." The Rittenberg's still have a lot of red tape to go through before they found out if they'll get their money back or another camera. We did speak with a Best Buy representative. The spokesperson says they hope to resolve the situation as soon as possible. They plan to contact the manager at the store where the camera was purchased, as well as Jim and Melisa Rittenberg."
  7. I will be when DS goes to bed later tonight. The Christmas tree always looks better with presents underneath :)
  8. I think I'm done, except for stocking stuffers and those usually come from the Dollar Tree, etc., so no rush.
  9. Just got back from round 2 there. They still have the big Superman, V Smile, Thomas Giant Set, Dora/SB tvs, 20 ct. Hotwheels, stick vacs, roasters, pajama sets & probably more I didn't see.
  10. I agree. I'm headed that way myself
  11. They want $7 to ship a $10 Doodle bear. Looks like I'm heading to WM. Ugh!
  12. Just checked & they're available online now :) http://www.gottadeal.com/Deal/17557
  13. Link The PJ pals start at $4.99. DLRPHOL15 will get you 15% off :)
  14. That's what they say, but I'll be checking a little sooner just in case.
  15. And what are you getting? I was going to get the Thomas train set, but found one I like better at JCP online. So I'm just after the Doodle Monster, I-Dog and the Playdoh table, if the s/h is reasonable. Not enough in my opinion to battle the crowd!
  16. It's $29.41 here at Amazon with free shipping.
  17. If it's a Supercenter that's open today, all they all just forming a line in electronics or what?
  18. Our Home Depot will let you do that. When we bought our gas grill, it was assembled so we had to come back with a truck to get it home. They gave us a slip before leaving that we showed them when we came back to pick it up.
  19. It's on page 5, right hand side under the Dora/Spongebob TVs.
  20. I think that only works if you live in AR, MS, CA or TX.
  21. That's right. No one knows what the s/h charges will be though. Everything I want is available online so that's the route I'm going too.
  22. The sale items that will be available online will say so in the ad. It will state "Also at Walmart.com" in a blue circle under the description. The I-Dog will be available online.
  23. By looking at similiar chairs on Amazon, I believe it gives you a surround sound effect while gaming.
