Gporter34 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Our WM was putting out some things, too. Not the biggies, but some of the toys and clothes. I don't think I am going to do the layaway thing because our line is way too long on BF. LOL
JBKing Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I went last night to our local WM. No signs of any BF items yet.
Floppy Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 When I went to Wally World yesterday they had these giant pallets that were covered up and a sign that said "NOT MERCHANDISE". I'm like.. surrreeeee.
T0mmy Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I thought they were closing layaway until after the doorbusters ended?
mjmcca Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 care bears?I went looking for the carebears at WM after my recent successes at TRU and Target. No luck.
queenofshopping Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I went looking for the carebears at WM after my recent successes at TRU and Target. No luck.i just saw them a few days ago @ wm in saddle brook, nj
venerdinero Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I presume they stock most things today (and last night), except for the doorbuster pallets, because of the Thanksgiving DAY sales and also I presume it would be less expensive than having it done tonight or tomorrow, because of the holiday. (This assumes that WM pays overtime or holiday pay - do they?)
peachysquirt21 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I will be goin to Walmart tomorrow to check things out. :)
masilke Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Thanks guys I will be checking it out tonight!!!!
t_mulkey Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 My WalMart has baskets of GB, PS@, Xbox games in baskets infront of the electronics area. The clerk told me these would be the $8 games on BF. I bought 8 of them. I am going to take them back on BF and then repurchase them to get the $8 price. I hope I am successful.
timbermommy Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 walmarts policy .. no employees can hold back items for themselves or family.. not that anyone follows it.. my cousin is a division manager.. and he busted on 4 ppl last year for doing that!
missyjane Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Walmart Troy, OH is stocked and ready to go! I couldn't find the laptops though. Everything else is out, one SA was even carrying around a copy of the ad.

Gporter34 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Three days ago our WM had about 10 Care Bears w/ DVDs, today they had about three shelves full. That will be one of the things that I get as soon as I get there Fri. morning.

madisonsmommy Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 my walmart has somethings already priced at black friday prices...mostly I just saw toys. we got trivial pursuit pop culture it was marked $18 on the shelf but rang up as $27...we just had to tell the checker and she adjusted the price plus i had a coupon from target for $5 off! since they accept comp. coupons we only paid $13! I know they had the bratz wild west already at $9. too

conehead433 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 My WalMart had some items out. Guess they'll be busy Thursday PM changing prices. At least you could look at some of the stuff and see if it was something you actually wanted.
biomajor Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I was in Fredericksburg,va at the wal-mart on rt 3 I saw the sale stuff too just not the door busters. ALSO everyone needs to be care with returns at WM they now use software to track your returns too many get flagged and hassledAs long as you have a receipt, you can return as much as you want though. It's only the returns without receipt that are flagged and tracked.

Mommie2one Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Is Walmart really having the $9 Bratz Dolls? On the Walmart site with my zip code it shows them. The ad I got, doesn't have it at all. I'll still try to get them Friday.
laffnatu Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I was at WM tonight near layaway and here came the pallets!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!! I made my son stay there so I could look and see what they were bringing. Only things I seen was the Cabbage patch and the flywheels.. We looked for more pallets, but no one else was coming with em.
threelittlecupcakes Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 We checked out WM as long as we were "in town" and found what we were looking for except the light sabers. Just some regular ones for $6 something. Everything is shrink wrapped in pallets down all aisles.
jlodoj Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few odds and ends I still needed for tomorrow. I was able to pick up the Dora the Explorer plush dolls for $10 and one of each pack offered of the Thomas & Friends 2 pack trains for $9.88. I was so excited because my son loves both of these. I also wanted to mention that I went to Target and got the plug and play games for $10. They had Star Wars, Spiderman, Batman, and Spongebob. These are the same ones that were $20.
