  7. last yr had a lady try to grab the items i had off the top of the large stereo box i was carrying, since it took both hands to hold, I was already pissed just trying to get to a checkout. Was about ready to just drop everything & choke the beetch when a salesperson helped me out. She stated she was just trying to keep things from falling, although nothing would of been close to falling if i wasn't spinning around & trying to kick her away. Might be a little, but I'm scrappy!

    1 per household?

OK, with this per household, do they ask for ID? or do they just go on honor system? & if you have no ID say a 15 yr old, will they refuse them a ticket?

    Renting a Kid!

Beth, there's no way they can refuse to give voucher to anyone, the ad says 1 per household, nothing about age limit. If they're able to pay by their self, like older than say 9? I'd think refusing would violate some kind of law or something. BUt my rent a kid is 16, though my son is going with me later on & he's 12
  15. lowes does, i was there last yr opened at 7

probably give him $50, depends on how long he has to stay, maybe pay him by the hr! He hasn't asked for anything but hes doing me a huge favorite, so I'm gonna pay him

    Target, where are you?

drop by your Target store, look up, top shelves filled, lots of boom boxes ( sm & lg), roasters, dvd /vcr combo, most electronics was the new brand they are carrying, not real expensive at reg price, tonka trucks, & of course the popular games candyland, monopoly, etc, think Wally World is gonna take it this year!

    best buy list no *

on all the lists there a * by early bird, except on BB, why is that? do these sales go all day?
  20. I can't see em being on a pallet , they'd get knocked around to much & who'd want one thats been kicked across the floor! Electronics dept. desk, would be my guess
  21. Tells on box RW- or RW+, as for better, RW- is the popular version, & the most commonly produced, I.d have to re-visit web site the I used before i bought my PC burner for actual quotes. It's probably a nice unit but I'll pass, since I know I'll only be able to playback on that unit.
  22. there was a posting early from a WM manager in NJ who says there will be around 12 per store. & at our Wally World, the police are called every year to break up fights at the door from people rushing up from parking lot at opening of doors, so I'm iffy . Though i did recon today & my store dosen't have any on display, also none of the LCD TV's either, so maybe ours will go elsewhere!
  23. True, HP i think is the most expensive ink, though Lexmark aint all that cheap, Sometimes its cheaper to buy new printer! Though WM & Staples have that refilled ink cartages for some printers & they're about $10 cheaper than the name brand ones & work just fine. My advice is make sure the printer isn't a USB connect, My old one worked fine on my HP, but when I gave it to my nephew it wont print right on his Compaq, worked back to my new Emachine works fine.
  24. we have everyone that ever came out, & the only 1 to die was the X-Box ( the hard drive went out) I'm hooked on the game cube & the super ninetendo, cuz of the cartoon games ( donkey kong, mario, etc) & with the Cube you can also play gameboy games on with a adaptor,( I need the bigger screen for those) but my son loves his Playstation 2, he's more into the sports & car games, also he says the controlers are better than X-Box's for the quick movement & control. I'd suggest you browse the games offered in the stores & go with the one that has the most of the games your children would play, keep in mind all playstation games (1&2) work for that system. I think you'll find the Playstation 2 is what you'll like with the age span you have.
  25. how long can u record on the minis? are they the ones that records for hrs? without changing the battery or disc?
