  1. The name brand in the electronic locked case that I bought was Nexstar (sp). It was in the locked case under the car radio display.
  2. They were not the C7 or C9 lights. They were the really small ones. I don't go into Big Lots often, but this the the area where they generally of there items they bring in from some of the drug stores or grocery stores and discount them. They don't have a Big Lots tag on them. They have the original stores tags then the 90% of that.
  3. Check out the GPS in the automotive dept of Wal-Mart. We took a family vacation to California this summer. We live in Florida. I didn't want to spend too much on GPS, so an associate at Wal-Mart showed me the GPS in automotive it was $149.xx It was the best investment I have ever made. We call it "Sally". "Sally" took was from Texas to the Grand Canyon then to Hoover Dam then on to Vegas without any problems On each of these stops, we just looked up the attraction name and selected it. After leaving Vegas, "Sally" got us safely through all of our destination in California. She took us to the gates of Disney and Universal Studios. She was easy to program and told us of exits and turn in plenty of time. She also had our speed on the bottom of the display. She calculated the arrival time and drive time. The Electronics department had the Tom-Toms and others. The this one in the electronics was alot cheaper and easy to work.
  4. Big Lots went to 90% on the clearance rack of Halloween and Christmas stuff. Christmas gift bags large enough for shirts or small toys for .20 Small Halloween Gift Bags for .10 Gift Tags for Christmas .10 (Bought these at Wal-Mart last year for $2.xx Christmas Gift Card Boxes by American Grettings .20 Orange Pumpkin Paper Cups in Package .25 Halloween Napkins .25 Plastic Halloween Spoons .25 Halloween Plates .25 There was a lot of stuff. There were some Christmas lights for .30 too. These items were in the center ailse at the Lubbock, TX store near the front door. They were not in the Halloween or Christmas sections. I spent $5.xx and left with three sacks. There is a price sheet above the display to tell you how much the products are with the 90% discount. I am so excited that I finally found a really good deal!
  5. I actually got 3 of them last year at a WMSC. They would not let us take it out of the black wrap until 5 am though. It was crazy. I had to pay seperate for each. I stood in line for two hours. When they finally brought them on the floor. I made friend with the associate. She said she would turn her head when I was getting the ones I needed. I just lucked out. They work great for my boys and husband. I also found a great 19' Flat panel Monitor at Target w/o a rebate for a little over a $100. Now my oldest son wants a laptop.
  6. I feel bad. I never get any of the good bargains neither. I keep on looking though!
  7. I will check the expiration date and get back to you.
  8. Being an Avon rep, I have a few free Curves passes. I would be happy to send them to anyone that would like one. We don't have a Curves locally. Just PM with your address.I may have 10. But you will get a free pass with a Curves order. Sizing seems be fitting the same as your current Nikes etc.
  9. Thanks for your fast reply. I am finishing up my order. My son wants a laptop, so I am getting me a new one and giving him mine. Thanks again!
  10. What is the preference now, XP or Vista? I have never used Vista. I plan to order this unit but don't know which way to go. Help anyone?
  11. I am an Avon rep. I am at least 3 to 5 pairs of these shoes ordered each campaign. My customers love them. I do too! They are currently $39.99 online and catalog. PM if you need help ordering. My customers have ordered the tennis shoes and the sandals. They go crazy over all of the Curves stuff. lol
  12. Oh, we don't have Kroger or Rite Aid in our area. Just CVS and Walgreens. I live about 40 minutes from the metro area, so our "metro" paper doesn't get all the ads. But the CVS coupons are for a transfer. I will just have to keep looking.
  13. Where did you find the coupon for the new prescription gift card at CVS?
  14. I just started shopping at the Children's Place this school year. I really like it, but I have a hard time finding my son's size. They were actually the only store that had the jeans that fit his tall, skinny body. But now they never have them in stock. (I used to walk by this store in the mall because I thought it was too expensive for me. Then while school clothes shopping, I saw a sign for $5.99 wnr $7.99. Instantly I went inside. lol) I did go in today and they were having a good sale but still no size 7 jeans.
  15. Finally..... I found a decent markdowns my my Targets. One had their bikes marked down to $13.xx but the other didn't. But the boxes were messed up badly. I really wanted two of them but was scared the parts were not all there. I did get the AXE sets for $3.XX. I also found Daytona cologne for my son for $6.xx. It was regular $24.xx. My family is huge Nascar fans, so I hit the Nascar clearance. I was just excited to FINALLY find a bargain. I was talking to the manager and clerk at the check out about the clearance stuff. I am on a Target high now. I can't wait for Saturday to hit the Target aisles again. Target is 30 minutes away for me.
  16. My 14 yo son has the PSP. Before vacation I bought my 6 & 8 yo guys the Nintendo DS. They fight constantly for their brothers PSP. Now I wish I would have spent the extra money for the PSP for the other two boys. Now I am hoping form some kind of deal this year on the PSP. If I had it to do again, I would definately buy the PSP. I find my 6 yo giving my husband leasons on the PSP. We not only have the DS, GB, Game Cube, Wii, and PS2, but everyone fights over the PSP. Including my biggest boy --- my husband. I have learned to buy all four of my guys the same exact thing. lol
  17. My boss is my dad. But last year, I got him a gift basket filled with GC to a hotel in a close tourist/casino resort in New Mexico, a gas GC, a resturant GC and lots of snacks for the trip. It seems excessive, but he is my dad too. Maybe a good idea for an office group to do. I worked out great. He took the trip during work time, so I go a vacation from the "boss" too.
  18. I still have not received any shipping notice.
  19. If you decide on the GameBoy just make sure that you get the games that are Rated E. You will be surprised how quickly they catch on to the games. My 6yo and 8yo love the Mario games, but they also liked the Sponge Bob, Dogs, Shrek, and other movie related games. I am clueless on the games, but they are pros at them.
  20. I never got an order confirmation on my order. I bet I will not get my backpacks. My order went through, but usually I get order confirmations in an email after the order. But I didn't. Just my luck.
  21. My youngest son preferred the Leapster. Plus Wal-mart in my area has some of the games on clearance now. But I also have two older boys that had Game Boys. I found that my 5yo was hiding out and playing their GameBoys. The GameBoys have games for the younger kids too. It turned out to be cheaper for me to get the 5yo a GB and make all three share the games instead of having to buy GB games and Leapster games.
  22. I have been reading this thread for months and checking my Targets. I have yet to find any great bargains. I am a definate bargain shopper. I totally refuse to pay regular price for anything. Maybe my luck will turn.
  23. Great backpack deal. Only .19 cents Hurry before they are gone. I ordered several for my guys for now and next year. http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=353602&langId=-1&exp=n&catTree=26601,26693,54877&clearance=C
  24. My local Wal-Mart had a waiting list of those looking for the Wii. I called and went in everyday hoping to luck into one. They did put me on the list and called the minute they came in. Our Wal-Mart recieves their via UPS. I am betting that most do. They even told me the normal delivery time for UPS. On the Friday before Christmas, I told them that I had seen UPS their about an hour before. They went so far as to go to the stock room and went through the UPS delivery. But my luck, there was only the controllers and gloves. But patience paid off. Good Luck all!
