BubbleTea Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Just thought I'd post a few pics that I took while at BB and CC today: Western Digital external HD:http://img452.imageshack.us/img452/4558/picture65dp.jpg Everyone's favorite: the $150 eMachines. These were stacked behind the computer repair desk against the wall:http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/5200/picture125ms.jpg Several other not so hot items that are in the BF ad are already available:http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/3831/picture72uc.jpg The $29 128mb GeForce graphics card:http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/2952/picture135qf.jpg Finally (for today), the $200, after AOL rebate, laptop at CC:http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/5453/picture149vw.jpg Please add your own pics/suggestions/concerns. I was kind of unprepared as I did not have any of the sale items written down when I went there. Tomorrow, I'll do a better job. If there are any requests, maybe a picture of a certain item that you may want or the location, just ask. I can't promise anything, though.

erh12275 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 You do know that you could be fined for these pics..don't you?
erh12275 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Really? I didn't know that. All major stores have a sign posted at or near the entrance stating no photography or videotaping. Even the grocery stores. Normally I would say ignore it...but since the corporate ad police seem to be out and about I wouldn't recommend doing it.
BubbleTea Posted November 23, 2005 Author Posted November 23, 2005 Alright then, if this is wrong/innappropriate/illegal (whatever word you wanna use), then I ask that this thread be deleted.
alimfp Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I've never seen such a sign at any store about photography?! I've worked in retail before as well..
Cosmic_Kid Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I would assume you could be removed from the store, but fined?
Guest general41391 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Looks like around 30-40 eMachines for your Best Buy location!

Guest general41391 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 On the eMachine picture, which ones are the eMachines? Are they the ones closest to you or the ones in the way back behind that guy?
BubbleTea Posted November 24, 2005 Author Posted November 24, 2005 Looks like around 30-40 eMachines for your Best Buy location!Yeah, not that much considering our population. You can probably estimate how many your store will have by comparing to other people's reported population and computer count. Our population is around 120,000, about 30-40 computers for us.Feel free to estimate your population here, and we can probably go from there.
BubbleTea Posted November 24, 2005 Author Posted November 24, 2005 On the eMachine picture, which ones are the eMachines? Are they the ones closest to you or the ones in the way back behind that guy?I believe they're the ones stacked up against the wall there closest to me.
