The radioshack cameras are generic, no optical zoom. I on the other hand love Kodak cameras, and am planning on going with the 199 kodak from walmart.

I'm trying to decide between the Sears Craftsman set or the Menards Stanley set. I live too far to scope out the stores before-hand, so I'll be going in blind. Crossing my fingers re. product availability and line waiting time. :)

I am going to get the Kodak from WalMart. I have a DX4530 that will be retired. In my opinion, it took way better pictures on our trip to Glacier NP than my sister's cam.. I don't know what her brand is. I am continually amazed by Kodak color quality.

Does anyone know how much the mechanic's tool set is before rebate? the 'scans' are pretty bad.. (1st post)
