juanadeal Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 With so many stores all in one place, I'll bet route 22 can get pretty packed. Does anyone know how the lines at Best Buy in the wee hours of the morning?
scarface Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 route 22 where? Bridgewater area? Thats like 30 minutes from me but im heading to PA allentown. You got all the stores up there :)
juanadeal Posted November 23, 2005 Author Posted November 23, 2005 I forgot how long Route 22 is:( I'm tempted to head over to the Springfield/Union/Mountainside area. Near the Garden State.
queenofshopping Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 ::raises hand:: meeeeeeee! last year i went to target in watchung (in the same shopping ctr as walmart) & the crowd was comparatively tiny, but i didnt see how bad the walmart crowd was...im hoping it wont be so bad since there's also a walmart in union now i'll be at walmart by 3:30, then to kohls & maybe best buy, while my cousin hits toys r us in blue star
21yankees Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Can I just say, you all are making me home sick. I grew up in Westfield. I still can't get over how much 22 has been built up everytime I'm home. Now I'm in California and am missing NJ a lot. Hope you all have the best of luck on BF. stephanie

Well 3:30 isn't as bad as midnight I guess. How are the roads at that time? All I want is one stinking thing at BB, then off to Staples, and hopefully back to bed by 8. Looks like I can do that but I just won't have any bags to come home with huh? 21yankees, I'm in Fanwood!
jmzupko Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 YUP!! I was there last year. It wasn't that bad around 6:00am but 10:00am it was a mad house.

21yankees Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 as much as it kills me to say, i could never leave nj - best insanity anywhere I know exactly what you mean. But for me the military tells me where to go and I go. California is insane but not the same insanity that's in NJ. Happy Thanksgiving. stephanie

Edit: scarface, in my experience traffic flows much more smoothly near the Bridgewater Commons than at the Lehigh Valley Mall. :)
