last year i went to target in watchung (in the same shopping ctr as walmart) & the crowd was comparatively tiny, but i didnt see how bad the walmart crowd was...im hoping it wont be so bad since there's also a walmart in union now

i'll be at walmart by 3:30, then to kohls & maybe best buy, while my cousin hits toys r us in blue star

Can I just say, you all are making me home sick. I grew up in Westfield. I still can't get over how much 22 has been built up everytime I'm home. Now I'm in California and am missing NJ a lot.

Hope you all have the best of luck on BF.

Is that 3:30 am? :( Well 3:30 isn't as bad as midnight I guess. How are the roads at that time? All I want is one stinking thing at BB, then off to Staples, and hopefully back to bed by 8. Looks like I can do that but I just won't have any bags to come home with huh?

21yankees, I'm in Fanwood!

yeah everyone on this forum is making me paranoid :( so i keep pushing my start time up...roads are fine (i take 280 to parkway south to 22), almost peaceful compared to how they usually are

can you price match the thing at BB anywhere else?

I know exactly what you mean. But for me the military tells me where to go and I go. California is insane but not the same insanity that's in NJ.

Happy Thanksgiving.

route 22 where? Bridgewater area? Thats like 30 minutes from me but im heading to PA allentown. You got all the stores up there :)

I'll be in Allentown with my mom. If you are going to Best Buy get there early. The parking lot is always horrible.

I LOATHE going up to MacArthur Rd during the holidays! I've spent an hour just waiting to get out of the parking lot of the Lehigh Valley Mall!

Edit: scarface, in my experience traffic flows much more smoothly near the Bridgewater Commons than at the Lehigh Valley Mall. :)

Hah... Rt 22 runs across the whole state! I'll be shopping on Rt 22... but on the other side of the state. ;)

i dont think it's possible for any stretch of 22 to be more jam-packed with stores than the union-springfield area is, not to mention bluestar & watchung commons farther down
