  1. Thanks. I've looked over those but was hoping the rest would have been listed (by them) by now.
  2. Has anyone heard what the "doorbusters" are going to be? They seem to have kept their sale very quiet this year.
  3. I'm looking for an inexpensive desktop for my kids. I would love if I could find it before Black Friday.
  4. Which page did you see this on? Great deal. steph
  5. I go to the first store (Military BX) by myself. I get in line around 2 am. By the time the store opens and I'm through the line it's around 630-700 am. My dh picks me up with the kids and we head into town for the rest of our shopping. My kids this year will be 8, 5, and 4. They are all early risers (think 5 am ). DH gets up with them, feeds them and makes sure they are dressed and ready to go when I call home. We live in S. CA so it's not really cold at that point in time. Also with both of us there and the initial store madness over, we've never had any issues with crowds and/or the kids behavior. steph
  6. 2 years ago when I got to line there were 3 guys in the front of the line with their flat panel TV and XBOX 360 playing a Madden football game. They were absolutely prepared for the long wait. I've been going out of Black Friday for 6 years and every year I feel I'm more prepared than the year before. I credit this site for that as well as its members who share their experiences, techniques, etc with everyone. Steph
  7. I'm looking for a new digital camera for me (I'm giving my oldest daughter my camera). Also dd ruined her ds earlier this year so I'm hoping that they are greatly discounted with the new dsi out this holiday season. She's saving her $ to buy it but I want to make sure she gets the best deal I can find. I'm looking for the rest of the Sex and the City DVD seasons that I don't have. They're usually priced well after Thanksgiving. For my youngest I want to get him a Leapster. For my youngest daughter I already have a ds for her (bought it before oldest broke hers) so I'll be looking for games and accessories for her. No idea what I'm going to get for dh at this point. steph
  8. My local Wal-Mart had a pallet of them at the back of the store plus they filled an end cap filled with them as well.
  9. In years past BB has offered double and/or triple Reward Zone points. Anyone have any inside information as to if they're going to offer it this year on Friday? I'm going to make a big purchase (not on sale on BF) and I'm wondering if I should wait until Friday just in case they offer more points. steph
  10. For the past several years AAFES (Military BX/PX) gives away $20 gift cards to the first 100 people in line. They have done this on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after Thanksgiving. steph

    Aafes Bx/px

My Bx price matches all of the local stores. Last year I got 2 gameboy advance micros for $35 each (and of course no tax). I agree about the lack of deals. I'm debating about going elsewhere first this year, $20 is nice though so I'm not certain yet. steph
  12. You could always get one of those cellphone company cards for the notebook. I have one through ATT and as long as I get cellphone service I have internet access. The best part is that I can still have my internet security as well.
