ColleenzKids Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Looks like my corner of PA is going to be COLD! Snow, windy..sleet... Oh boy! LOL Although many of you may do this all ready, I wanted to suggest buying those little hand warmer packets a lot of hunters use to stay warm. They can be found in the hunting section, and you can get them in packs of 6 I think. Mine are going in my shoes and gloves! LOL Just let me get mine first before you all run to the store and buy them all! LOL Happy Shopping!
christmasangel Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 We used to use those all the time YEARS ago when I was a football Rah-Rah- we would put them in our shoes and every times we jumped we would get a nice warm rush! Great idea! :yelclap: :yelclap: :yelclap:
bethc24 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Good Idea! In Wisconsin it's supposed to be like 10 degrees with winds 15-20 mph...which would make below 0 with wind chill..yikes...I'm going to need a million of the little warmers!!!! Hmm...just thought... is it child abuse to have my 11 year old stand with me?!?!!? She wants to come with!!!

ManxLdy Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I'm bringing a big blanket to curl up into for the few hours wait in line and a thermos of hot tea, then my fiance can take it back to the car before opening.
wright1baby Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Going to be chilly in KY too. Around 20
maccawolf Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I'm in NJ, and if it's 93 in NY, I wanted to know what drugs bestbuy7 was on...lol
scrappynik Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 It's going to be in the 20's here....those hand warmer packets are sounding mighty good!! I'll definatly have to pick some up tomorrow!!
happyrat Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I am not sure if there's an outside outlet, but if there is, and extention cord and portable heater come to mind. Or an electric blanket if you want to play it safe. You can also put up a pup tent.
Daisimae Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I got an outdoor blanket and those hand warmer thingies at Wal*Mart. I'll be wearing my Jeans, two layers on top and a long heavy coat. This along with gloves, heavy socks, boots hat, earwarmers and scarf should have me set from the cold. If it starts to rain here, I have a tarp.
tracysbeans Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Maybe some of you BF diehards should go on Survivor. You can go on win the BIG bucks and then no more BF waits for you?
couponmamaoftwins Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Maybe some of you BF diehards should go on Survivor. You can go on win the BIG bucks and then no more BF waits for you? I would still have to shop BF specials!
queenofshopping Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 wow, that brings back memories - i used to use those when i was a safety patrol in 5th grade
Gumball Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I also bought some of those shoe insoles that heat up like those hand warmers. Supposed to keep the entire bottom of my foot warm for at least 5 or 6 hours. There's also those ThermaCare patches you can stick right on your skin whereever you need it most.
