disneyaholicraquel Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I just called my local walmart....they said that it will be coming out in sunday's paper....hope everything will be fine tomorrow morning :)Thankx...I was getting a little worried. Last year it came in the mail like a week early.
bayhaysay Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Honestly, i dont see them trying to explain to 500 people who have been waiting out in the cold for HOURS that they cannot have the price on thier ad. I think if it is indeed a mistake, they will honor it anyways.I agree, or else they'll have a riot on their hands at every Walmart store in the country.
Vickis3js Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 If you read the fine print of the ad it says something about the prices only being at partcipating stores. So the price difference could very easily be a regional thing. Which sucks I am sure in NJ they will be $488 we can't get anything cheap here. Vicki
easygrind69 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I am a associate of WM. I f you have the ad in your possession our customer service policy states we must honor it! ---CUS. SVC. MGR.
laffnatu Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Hang on to that ad.. just in case! I'm getting my quarters ready to hit the newspaper stands in the morning. :woot2: :woot2: :woot2:
vonnyb Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I can't wait to see how all of this unfolds:2cig:
fuzzylogic Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 WM is advertising BF deals on the in-store radio/tv feeds. Stop by the electronics dept. next time you're in and you might catch one. I heard the $378 laptop deal on the radio announcement, and saw the $99 TV/DVD on the TV feed.
erh12275 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Well I am going over the mountain...lol. Gonna make the hour trip to Walmart tomorrow. Need to see if I can PM a few other items there and Sears...and hoping to find out where we stand in the price saga. Will report my findings tomorrow night when I return home.
rjjan Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 The Prices are for stores that have a taget or Best buy in there area. They are real and these are the prices. We had a Fed EX delevery on a sat. to get 5000 flyers and 6 banners to put up in the store. The ads are on Wal-mart tv and Walmart radio. Best bet for everyone is to call the store in your area and ask. rj
sigrist_2000 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 awesome..theres a best buy two stores down form the wlamart im going to..and a traget just hip and scotch down the road..so im hoping to get those prices from the flyer...cds and dvds cheaper than target and bb..and ill bring Circuit city flyer with me..and bb's too to price match the other items..oh cant forget the target ad..cuz there some there i need to price match too at walmart...i would hate to see the people behind me in line... :mischievo :mischievo .....lol..but if it eliminates some stops...and will save on gas and time and money from taxes..as ill be buying tons of stuff
SableMMB99 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Hey! We got our BF ad today in the mail and the Comps are $398.00. We're in NY. But then again, everything is more expensive here.

Guest mldepalma Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I live in CT and just got a Walmart flyer in the mail. The price was still $488 and there is a Target less than 3 miles down the road. I also called and asked about their price matching policy and they said they would not honor doorbuster sales. Bummer!
SableMMB99 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 There's both a Target and a Best Buy here as well. Then bout 25mins south there's another Walmart and a Brand new Target. I know neither store has handed out these flyers. As far as doorbusters go, I know Walmart will not even match other WM's store specials. As they put it, they do not compete w/themselves.
Demontooth Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 You'll beat me to it, I am scanning it in right now so I could post it
SableMMB99 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 sorry bout that. i used to work for them.
rjjan Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Yeah we got the flyers in and they listed at $488 and thats what i told everyone on this board but today we get the Black and White flyers in and the 6 banners to hang up in the store that show the prices that are in the new flyer and what the prices will be. Again just call the store and ask. rj
provresgrp Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 ugghhh...! I just sent these ads in, then found this thread with them already posted. and I thought I had something here!
Illinoismom Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I also got a flyer from my Moline Walmart today with the laptop at 378.00 I may not have to do BB after all

erh12275 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Man this is way 2 much 2 handle im ready for thursday 2 be here so i can have all the "official" ads in my hands! I am feelin' you here. Well I am going to Walmart tomorrow and check the prices. Hate to think about making the trip but at this point I can't take it anymore. If I don't like the prices there I may end up making a trip on Monday to see if the Yuma prices are any better. My poor hubby...lol.
kevinC Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 When you heard that the price might be wrong...did you happen to stop and think that it might possibly be lower?
kevinC Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 When you heard the price might be wrong, did you stop and think that it might be the lower price and they might not know it yet?
iastrmchsr Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 The pages scanned earlier in this thread are identical to a sheet that Walmart in Ankeny, Iowa was handing out to everyone going into the store as of 2100 hrs on Nov 19, 2005.
themasons Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 We have that flyer here in the Bay Area too with the $378 price FYI Lauren
barghunter Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I received the same flyer with laptop @ $378 in the Cartersville, GA Walmart about 5:00 PM today. I'm glad this is not on my list this yr!!!!
Guest fun_4_u_nme Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Is the new ad scanned in here for the flyer from a good resource ? I had already made my plans for shopping based on the first ad posted last month, now how do I know for sure this is the real deal, Sigh.....

heavenlysshine Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 378 bucks, huh? This might explain why that stocker I talked to yesterday told me that he thought the price for the laptop was going to be cheaper that 398! YAY! (I'm in Greenville, SC) Will grab a paper at Walmart on the way to church. ~H~
