  1. I just saw that they have a new promo: sign-up by Nov 26 and get $10 off any $10 or more purchase. Yay. *signs up* http://www.google.com/checkout/signupbonus.html#utm_campaign=acct10&utm_source=us-en-et-hpp_nov06&utm_medium=link
  2. There were 15 at the Knox Co., Ohio, Wal-Mart. The line began forming at midnight. Fortunately, everything was kept orderly and they were passed out first come, first serve.
  3. There were 15 laptops at ours and my sister was 4th in line at 2am.
  4. Had a great WalMart experience. Got there at 2am, I was the first in line for the desktop (but not for long) and my sister got in line for the laptop (she was 4th) Fortunately, at 5, they handed everything out in the order in which people came. I was happy! I was out of the store by 5:15.
  5. I wonder if they'll accept coupons on BF? I'm anxious to find out - could get several free things. (I'm mostly interested in the Tide!! Hope to get some)

    24-Hour Walmarts

You guys are scaring me! LOL Wow, I hope it's orderly.
  7. 100? Wow, I was thinking my store would only have a dozen!! I hope there'll be more!
  8. I was at Wal-Mart earlier trying to find out what their BF protocol was - to see if I had any chance at getting a computer (I can't race for it). No one knew / wouldn't tell me if there would be tickets handed out, or a line, or if they'd shut the store down and then open the doors and let it be every man for himself... No one would say a thing. Garh. I'll keep asking, hope I get some answers.
  9. ^ to my surprise, I recently found out that isn't true for my local super wal-mart. We are in a small town and about 25 miles away from Meijers, Target, Best Buy, etc but they have been price matching everything I show them. Including the "only with a store card" deals, which I thought for sure they wouldn't honor. But they do. If the price is in the ad, they will most likely PM it. :)
  10. The best deal I could find was at K-Mart this past week, for the Gamecube Mario Party 7 bundle. For $89, after using a -$10 coupon, I got: Gamecube system 2 controllers (It normally only comes with 1 - additional controllers retail at $25ea) Mario Party 7 game ($50 by itself) Quite pleased! :)
  11. The gift I'll be giving people I don't know what to get for: Giftscriptions - they are available at Barnes and Noble as well as Meijers. See their webpage for more info: www.giftscriptionsonline.com
  12. That would be rotten! I'm in serious need of a new computer (this clunker is heading towards its 10th birthday) but there's no way I'd win in the "Mad dash" - I'm disabled. Here's to hoping my walmart will have some kind of line or ticket or something!
  13. Got such a fantastic deal there. Ma was in there 2 weeks ago and came (thisclose) to buying chairs at 38$ ea. I told her to wait for a holiday deal - we get in there and not only have they reduced the chairs to 30$ ea (which we were excited about!) but they'd also stickered it for an additional 40% off! Wound up only costing us $14 ea. Woo! :)
  14. I'll have to look for it, have a 10 off 35 coupon I need to use! :)
  15. Sweet! I have been saving my rebate/upc's for a good deal, and here it is! With the coupon, my final cost will be $16.99! Woo!! :)
  16. NE Ohio (Licking/Knox Co.) Desktop: $398 Laptop: $378 YAY! :)
  17. We're buying the Mario Party 7 Bundle this Christmas for my nephews - it seems like the best deal, you get a $50 game + a bonus controller (one is already included) for $99. We bought it at K-Mart so we got another $10 off by using our Sears card (The coupon link is available on another thread) Great price. I researched some games and the most popular seem to be the Mario games (especially the Melee one, and the all Party ones) Also, Kirby seems popular with the younger set. If your kids are interested in something in particular, like: Star Wars, Spongebob, Harry Potter, etc - The games featuring them would surely be a hit.
  18. sigrist_2000, You saw a flyer in Ohio? I'm itching to know what the price will be in central Ohio. Amanda

    Joann BF?

Surprisingly, Joanns last year was my most time-consuming BF stop. It took 2 hours to check out. Ouch! Excited to see their ad though. They have a pretty good deal now through the 23rd, too: 40% off coupon, of course + a $5 off $25+, $10 off $50+. I was just in there and I LOVE their clearance stuff. Good deals to be had.

    Photos of ads...

I'd love to see the pics, period. Alas, I can't download PDF or ZIP files. My computer is that far gone. Any JPGs uploaded anywhere by chance?
  21. I would look into shelters, or, as someone already mentioned - petfinder.com. Aside from the ethical issues, PetLand/Smart charge outrageous prices for their pets. My sister bought her lamalese puppy from a rescue for $350 - Petland had contacted the center and offered them $400 for each pup, and told them they would list the pups at $1000 in the store. Grah.
  22. I had planned on buying a Gamecube for my nephews this Christmas so I've been on the lookout for deals - knowing I had to buy a second controller anway, I was excited about the TRU deal but I just looked up info about the G-force controller (which is $10 at Amazon) and the reviews about it have scared me away. I see that this weeks K-mart ad features a Mario Party 7 Bundle with 2 controllers for $99 and I think that's what I'll go for. Best deal for me so far.
