Popo Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 No sleep for me. Because, I'd probably end up sleeping in (I'm not a morning person AT ALL) ever-so-slightly, and just missing out on the items I want. I'd rather be in a state of dazed sleep deprivation and score the stuff before sleeping. Also, no point in sleeping for a couple hours or less. I find that I actually feel worse after that. It just makes my body want MORE sleep.
MarkRaby Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Special 2-hour block of The Apprentice on NBC from 9 - 11 PM + CompUSA opening at midnight = no sleep for me! -Mark-
illusion Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 i get some because im gonna take a nap after thanksgiving dinner, plus im gonna wake up right before we eat on tday! and we usually eat at around 2 then cowboys!
stationchief Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I'll be going straight to a line right after my turkey dinner. Might take a little nap in whatever line I'm waiting in, but I wouldn't officially consider it to be sleep. That comes after I've got all my loot home and all the boxes are resting comfortably in my living room.
VaderGCP Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Sleep?! I thought that died out with the Reagan administration.
ebony0421 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 If I don't get any sleep, I will be no good. I am gonna make myself lay down and get a few hours.
jcarr492 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I won't be able to sleep. I'm hosting thanksgiving at my new house this year so unless i can get rid of 3 kids and me and dh catch some z's...not for me. So what I'm planning is this....I will let dh catch the z's till its time to leave...then when we get there...he and his sis will stand outside and i will sleep in back of the van for an hour and a 1/2, then i'll relieve one...so they can sleep, then so on till its time for dh to hit another store before they open.
Guest general41391 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I will not be sleeping. My family is having thanksgiving at my house this year and mostly eveyrone will be gone around 8 or 9. a fewpeople will be left, and i am leaving at 11:30 pm to get inline at best buy
erh12275 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I won't be getting any sleep from about 6:30 Thanksgiving morning til about 9 Black Friday night...lol.
star1979 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Hoping for a couple hours, thanksgiving is big with my family, we up all night talking, eating, laughing, and watching the kids talent show...
sbhiggins Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 It depends on if I end up going to CompUSA at 12 or not. They are in the same mall as Circuit City, and it's only five minutes from my house. So that's officially my first stop now. But I want to get a look at the CompUSA ad (in my hands) before I decide. If I go there, it will probably be 0 hours sleep. If I just go to CC, then I'll get at least a couple of hours. Turns out I don't have to cook T'day dinner this year, so now all I have to worry about is shoppng! :banana01:
SuperMommy Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I usually end up getting about an hour to an hour and a half at most.
ReillyCheyenne Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I hope to maybe get a little bit but of sleep but not sure how much because I don't have my gameplan finalized just yet.
bayhaysay Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I plan on getting at least 3 or 4 hours. If anyone sees me on here after 10:00pm Thanksgiving Day tell me to get outta here and go to bed!
Floppy Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I always take a nap after turkey dinner(it gets me so sleepy!) but by 10:00 I'll be wide awake and ready to go.
ito_okashi Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I will sleep from about 2 til about 6 or 7 then be good to go after that.
Rebirth Posted November 19, 2005 Author Posted November 19, 2005 No sleep for me. It just makes my body want MORE sleep.I am the same way.
stacimarie Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I get too antsy and cannot fall asleep. But, seeing as how I am still talking bayhaysay into staying closer to WM and Sears, I better get at least 5 or you won't want to be fighting me for something that day. / \ ** + \__/
nellyhill Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I have to work T-Giving night. I will get off at about 1am. I will make a pit stop at CC on my way to Walmart. A friend is going to meet me at Walmart and hopefully bring some food. Then its a mad rush..... Walmart, Sams, BB, Sears and maybe KB.
cmancdf1 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I"m always too excited and nervous to sleep...worried about the lines more than anything (and the quantities of the stuff I want).
fairydustcrissy Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Never sleep before. I feel like crap if i only sleep an hour or two. I am better off to stay awake the entire time. I will get up at 5:30 am on Thursaday, and crash about 8pm (assuming the kids will let me) on Friday night. Hubby will be working,m so he cant let me take a nap.
gisellerol Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 i will not end up sleeping i get to excited and cant seem to fall asleep
rozbai Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 i will get about 5 hours of sleep... there is 6 of us that shop together on bf and we have learned that we do a phone chain to make sure that everyone is up and ready to GO!!!!!!!!!
klmorgan72 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 usually I drag my fiance out bf shopping with me and I was just reading to him how some people get in line at bb at 10 and 12 at night and he said the heck with that I'll give you the extra money. I should take him up on that ! LOL I am sure that would never happen.
saturnboy01 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 None. Plan to eat Thanksgiving Lunch with family and friends then hang and chill for awhile and head out the door around.....You thought I was going to tell you what time! NEVER!!!
Peshua Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 with the time difference between here and the east coast I prolly will not get much will do a wake up call to my daughters around 10 pm my time ( I know the oldest will prolly not sleep) then will have to call them a few times while they are in line to see if they are freezing so i can rub it in how warm it is here i think maybe bout midnight i will take the puppy for a ride and see if any lines are forming ( alot of ppl i talked to last year about BF had no clue what i was talking about ) then maybe just maybe i'll sleep for an hour or so...........however because of the time diff I have told my daughter she can call me and lemme know if she was not able to get what she was heading for when she is done stores will be just opening here :)
