Who still sends actual Christmas cards?

I do! I love writing personal messages inside the cards and addressing them. I love getting them in the mail, but have to say I've been getting fewer and fewer each year. I know a lot of people complain about the cost of postage, but honestly, can you hand-deliver a card to other states or even cities for the cost of a stamp?

I bought cards this last weekend and will be actually filling them out and preparing to send in some of my " wait time" while i am waiting for kids to be finished from sport activities. I am so excited about them!

Every year I say I'm going to send out cards... I even buy them on clearance so I have some... But I never do. :( Maybe this will be the year.

We have a family member that every year writes a letter about the whole year and includes it with the cards. That's always neat. I bet it would be neat for her to go back and read all those later when her kids are grown.

I still send them, I get fewer every year, kind of sad. :( I wonder if it is people having hard times, laziness, hectic lives, illness, or sadly loss of holiday spirit. Anytime I don't get one from someone I normally do, I wonder if the post office lost it, or it was one of the previously mentioned reasons. . .

I choose them carefully, while paying attention to price of course. :holiday13 I love to find ones with characters/objects that are the same number of members in our family. Sometimes I choose religious ones and sometimes I send photo cards.

I always write something in every card, sometimes a few paragraphs, sometimes just one or two lines. :)

I am always very happy to have a Christmas card in the mailbox :gd_orange

I have about 25 I send out each year, but with the price of stamps.... :(

I usually send them out to older relatives who live farther away and always include a family picture.

I will hand deliver them to closer,in-town friends and relatives.

I have a 1950 house with a rounded archway from the dining room to the living room. I always, ALWAYS tape the cards I receive up around my arch along with my lighted swag. It's my favorite scene in my holiday home!

It brings me such joy :)

I always get excited when I see the cards I bought last year on clearance! I always buy a couple different styles since I like different things at different years...lol.

I send cards for all the holidays. My friends and family joke with me but love the cards and miss them if I happen to forget! Lol
