ravi7791 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Is anyone offering any wake up calls like Target did last year?
ColleenzKids Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Not sure, but I know I got my call from Target at like 2:00 pm! LOL Good thing I didn't rely on that! I set my dual alarm clock, AND my cell phone..you know, in case there is a freak storm and the electricity goes out! LOL

erh12275 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Target is doing them again this year...but they come way too late for most.
RossMAN Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Maybe I'm missing something but isn't an alarm clock just as functional?
erh12275 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Maybe I'm missing something but isn't an alarm clock just as functional?Shoot I would love to be able to use an alarm clock on Thanksgiving night...I am gonna be joining the NON sleeping ranks this year. Course last year I think I got maybe an hour....thanks to THIS site...lol.
TheDude Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Maybe I'm missing something but isn't an alarm clock just as functional? Yeah, but when the dark lord of the sith calls you to wake up, you wake up, no snooze button there.
mom-n-michaela Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Yes but when you can have Brad Paisley calling to remind you it's time for bed - ahem! Hello?? I am signing up just to have that play on my voicemail!! Mariah

Gporter34 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Won't have a need for wake up calls or alarm clocks. I will not be sleeping that night at all. I do, however have plenty of coffee.lol Between last minute plan checking, online shopping, and EXCITEMENT, there's no way I could sleep.

lauralee Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 No wake up calls for me either this year, since BB is not in my shopping area, its Walmart for me for the laptop, and I'll be there at MN. I wish i had a target close by, but the nearest one is 2 hours away.
wallsjessica Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 My brotehr had set one up for my older sisters phone last year I can't remember who had do the call it was through Target but I knew he had done it and when the call came through on her phone we were already out shopping and it was hilarious!!!!!

He'll usually bring a 2 liter to enjoy. First he drinks it, then he "refills" it. Some people may not approve of his ways, but he never loses his place in line. He also wears pants that are a few sizes too large for him to have "extra room" if needed while waiting. It never hurts to bring along some noseplugs as well, since he is a hardcore shopper and refuses to leave the line for anything. And I do mean anything! ND
Aaron Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Make sure to search before posting. :) http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=18366&highlight=Wake+Calls

Princess7915 Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 I set my alarm and back up alarm, and my mom and I are shopping buddies, so the first one up calls the other.
