freesia39 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 when i camped out overnight for harry potter, we had foldable chairs we got from target for 10 bucks. for a footrest, it was 15. they folded up very small and you could carry them in a carrying bag to take into the store with you so you don't lose your place in line.
mrsbmb Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 probably depends on the people behind you if they want to be lame and complain. i wouldnt mind it. most people are nice that i have run into. kathy
fairydustcrissy Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 About an hour or so before opening, go put it in the car. Just go one at a time, or have 1 person take them all. Thats what we did one year when a new store was opening here.
nellyhill Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I have only done BF twice. The first time Mom was with me and she held the line while I put the chairs and blankets in the car about 15 min. before opening. The second time I asked the person behind me if they mimded holding my place while I went to the car. Most people in line are really nice. And when you are sitting next to someone for 2 hours you tend to chit-chat a bit.
nikov3 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 i was thinking about this last night the chairs are kind of pricy though
fairydustcrissy Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I am gonna check the thrift stores for one.
Mommie2one Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Im going to be by myself so there is no way I can being a chair and carry it into the store. My luck the people behind me would tell me if I leave my spot its gone! So I'll rough it and stand
erh12275 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I'm taking one of those therma care heat wraps. They are used for sore muscles and things like that. I'm going to layer my clothes and put one of those on! It should help keep me warm.I have a couple of the ones you warp around your back and they velcro together. I hope it works! They sell these things that you can put in your gloves and shoes to keep your hands and feet warm. My sis's husband worked for ConAgra in the freezer and that is what he used. I on the other hand will need nothing. It will probably be around 50 here...and that's the low.
RossMAN Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 Why is everyone choosing chair #2 over chair #1? Fortunately it's only $19.99 I may also check out Walmart and Target.

Gporter34 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I prefer chair #2 because they seem to be easy to fold and carry. I got mine on clearance, I think at Big Lots for about $4.99 each.
RossMAN Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 Well it looks like I need to check Big Lots and K-Mart. What would I do without you??? :)
Gporter34 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Oh, just trying to help out...shucks!!!lol
blakes_mommy Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 No chair for me. I usually jump up and down to keep warm. If i sat I would freeze and have to pee.
mrsbmb Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 actually i believe i saw some hunters folding chairs on clearance in walmart the other day..not sure the price but under $10.00 i believe. they were the brown camof. type print on them. kathy
Mommie2one Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 My husband would love one of those, but not for actual hunting. Hes up in a tree stand for that!
SuperMommy Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 i was thinking about this last nightthe chairs are kind of pricy thoughThey have some like the second one at Wal Mart for less that $10.
KBsDarling Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 When we see cycle out old blankets they go in the BF pile LOL That way If DH isnt back in time for me to toss it in the car and I have to leave it outside and its MIA when I come back its no loss
RossMAN Posted November 13, 2005 Author Posted November 13, 2005 I think we'll need to check out Walmart for those $10 clearance chairs.
ebony0421 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 You have ebough time to run it back to your car before the store opens and the crazy line jumpers arrive. Hopefully, no one has to do this:slapcry: at BB,CC,Walmart or any other store.
