peachysquirt21 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Bought so much stuff that your car cannot hold anymore & you have to go home unload & go back to the store to continue your shopping? I dont recall having to do this myself.
erh12275 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I am so afraid of this happening this year...and since we live over an hour from the stores we can't just run home and go back.
jlfuzzbutt Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Guilty!!! We got some great toys one year(for toy drives) and it didn't fit in the cab of the truck. We did make the trip home and then back at it. I didn't want to leave 4 bikes in the back while we shopped at another store.
gisellerol Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I DID ME and my friend go together and we drive in my car because i have a van last year we had so much we had to drop off and then go back to the store cause we were not done luckily i did not have to take anything home i leave all presents in my friends house cause she has an extra bedroom and then we wrap together.
Guest all2tired Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I didn't have to go home to unload but I did have to get a second cart
holly2hottie Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 My friends and I had to one year. The car was so full we had to get in the car and the driver would pack stuff on top of us. Good thing I brought my camera that day...too funny!!
motoXmom Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 LOL One year I had to do BF shopping with an S-10. NO king cab or cap on the back either! I fit a TON in there, actually spent app. $800 that day. My mom taught me how to pack the impossible into the possible. ROFL
martinas Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 :) Last year I had to unload everything. go back out and pu the fake xmas tree and office chair.
peachysquirt21 Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 I might have to go home & unload & go back out this year. Possibly 4 all together goin & 1 vehicle. Not too much space in the back so will see. LOL
starshine Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Never had to take things home but we have had to take things out of boxes before.
Gporter34 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Never have had to go unload before, we take the two back seats out of my van and stuff everything in there. It's better than a truck cause we can lock it up and if it rains, nothing gets wet!LOL
eve Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 never got that much, but more then i could carry
love2beurwifey Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 No I have not had to do that because we always drive two vehicles
BrandyJervas Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Nope not yet and I hope I don't have to this year either.
Kandy Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Nope I've never had to do that.... ..My DH would kill me
mrsbmb Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 never have but have had to take tv's etc out of boxes to fit them in the car.. kathy
alimfp Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Thankfully, no! My first year BF shopping I had an Accord (lots of room in the trunk and backseat, but little openings!) and I barely made it through all of my shopping that year. This year I have a van.. so I'm good.
susiejwp Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 ...nope, I've got a minivan with stow 'n go seats and a luggage rack on top!
geomacey Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I did, but not because I bought too much...because I bought too BIG! Last year I bought a huge massaging office chair and it took up the whole back of my van. I stuffed some things around it, but still had to go home, stash the chair and then go back out!
fairydustcrissy Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Not home, cuz its over an hour home from shopping. But what we do is we all drive & meet at a central location. So there are 4 cars. We pile into one for shopping. When it gets too full, we go unload. Back to shopping. Repeat as necessary.lol
Booterbunz Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Last year dh's car got pretty packed. When I met up with him, I realized that he did a pretty good job on packing the van! LOL So, once we combined everything, the van was almost full in the back. It was dd's 1st Christmas so I went way overboard! LOL
berry1014 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Yup....some of the items were packaged in very large boxes...wagons, etc.
shopping mom Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Between us we have 4 cars out on BF so it is no problem for us. It might be this year if I get the basketball system. Those boxes look big.
Jenniferharrison82 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I've never had to do that, but I haven't really bought BIG (in size) items before...so I have been lucky.
