Of course, we didn't decide to get the kids a t.v. until after black friday. I see a Westinghouse 32" Led, is this brand okay is there something better out there right now? Thanks.

Westinghouse is one of the worst brands sold if you look at reviews and study cnet. The best brands are LG and Samsung. Some Sony's are ok and some Panasonics. Stay away from Westinghouse, Dynex, Vizio. When you find a tv, go to cnet reviews and see what they say.

TV's have dropped in price so much that you should be able to get a really good tv for that price. Personally, I would not go with Westinghouse. We have 3 flat screen tv's in the house. All are different brands, so I can share from experience. Our 42" in the living room is a Panasonic (I love, love, love Panasonic). We have had the tv for 3 years and I can honestly say we have never had a problem at all with this tv. You can buy a 32" Panasonic for around $350.- $400. DS13's 32" is a Samsung, and he has had it for 2 years, and you can usually get a Samsung 32" tv now for around $350-$399 if not less(Sears.com has one for $328). It is a very nice tv, however picture is not quite as crisp as Panasonic, and the 50" tv in video game/theatre room is a LG. LG has a great pic and we haven't had any problems with it, however I feel that LG is just way overpriced. If I had it to do over again, I would probably have Panasonic in all 3 rooms. HTH.
