  1. i would like to find the ipod touch cheap and a cheap laptop for 10 yr. old daughter. 40'' tv for my bedroom if under 200.
  2. I made a lot of online purchases and luckilly have gotten everything. Still waiting on 2 things from finish line and 2 from amazon but they are suppose to be here tomorrow. I also had luck and got nothing cancelled. But I didn't buy anything online on black friday except from Amazon. I didn't use walmart or target this year at all, but have heard a lot of horror stories about both. I ordered a lot from Amazon, Kohls, Toys R Us, Hollister, Finish line, Ralph Lauren, and Best Buy.
  3. I have used 2 large rolls and 3 small rolls. Im over 1/2 done. 19 rolls that is a ton.... I thought I always had a lot of gifts.
  4. I also grabbed the bundle on black friday for 129.99 by trading an old ds lite in. i have not seen another deal close to that. I figured it would be the best price so I made my husband go stand first in line that day to make sure we got it.
  5. what is this one about rainbows, my daughter is getting it for the xbox for xmas so we haven't played it yet but my husband and I are looking foward to playing it also. What is an expansion pack? Guess I haven't done much research on what all this game does and has to go with it. Is it a guy that shoots rainbows?
  6. have a 50 samsung and a sony and i prefer the samsung. I have also heard good things about the LG's.
  7. I got the one at Kohl's on BF for 69.99. It is super nice and it came with a cover. I really like it and have seemed to be sleeping better recently. Also it put my purchase over 150 so i got an extra 30 bucks in kohls cash that I wouldn't have got without it so the price seemed even better.
  8. got $10 off $10 and still have one I haven't used yet. Can you use 2 of them in the same transaction ?????
  9. my 9 year old daughter wants skylanders game and little guys for the xbox, wii and kinect games, 3D DS system and games, i pod touch, i phone, laptop, electric scooter, various movies.
  10. THANKS the 20% code worked with no trouble, I saved an extra 5%.
  11. just a heads up, the game stop in my town is located in our rinky dink mall and I figured they wouldn't open at midnight. So I stopped in there the other day and asked if they would be opening at 5 am because the ad states that 2200 stores will open at midnight and the remaining stores wil open at 5 am. I am really wanting to trade dd9 ds lite in for the new zelda bundle that she really wants. Guy told me he was gonna open the doors at 4 am. Told me that not to many people would know due to the ad saying 5 am. Told me that if I was there at 3 am I should definitely be close to front of line and be able to score a bundle. He did say that last year they got only 3 of each of the bundles type deals at each store. I am making husband go there as I will be in Muncie and I know there gamestop opens at midnight and it will probably be packed at that one. So may want to ask your local store about opening time if you are really wanting an item. If I hadn't asked I would of sent hubby around 4:30 to get in line and they would probably have none left by that time.
  12. YAY!!!!! Today must be my lucky day. Thanks, and congrats to all the other winners.
  13. mini stress balls so we can keep calm during the black friday madness, water bottles, can coolers, mini notebooks, sticky notes, purse sized calendar. I also love the idea of the hoodies or some earmuffs. It is freezing here already.
  14. What does anyone think about the laptops they are offering. I am going to get one for dd 9 and dont know which would be the best buy?
  15. i do not like rebates either. But if it is a good deal I will buy. Last year did 2 rebates from Kohl's and got back within a few weeks. It seems the only time I haven't gotten my money back is if I have forgotten to send it off in time. But I would rather not have to bother with them.
  16. At first I didn't like them. It has thrown my routine and traditions off a bit. But then I realized I never got much rest before anyways. Between being super excited to get started and staying up all night to do a little online if I could manage to get something good before it went out of stock I never really slept anyways. So now I am thinking maybe I will get done a few hours earlier than I used to.

  18. I love all the planning and excitement of seeing if I am able to get all or most of the things that are on my list. Also getting to hang with my sister all day/ night now !!!
  19. It is always just my sister and I. Tradition now for ten years. It is by far our favorite day of the year. Hanging out shopping for hours and hours. Neither of us wanted to give up the tradition of just her and I getting to hang out all day, so we have never had anyone else go with us. We figured it would slow us down and we also dont want to give up any room in the vehicle for anyone elses stuff.
  20. Nutty Holiday Log ingredients 1 cup finely chopped walnuts 1/3 cup plus 5 teaspoons sugar, divided 1 tablespoon freshly grated orange zest 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 8 sheets phyllo dough (9-by-14-inch), thawed Canola oil cooking spray Topping 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips directions Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper or nonstick baking mats. To prepare logs: Combine nuts, 1/3 cup sugar, orange zest, cinnamon and cloves in a small bowl. Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean, dry surface. Coat thoroughly with cooking spray. Top with another sheet of phyllo and coat with cooking spray. Sprinkle one-quarter of the walnut mixture (about 1/3 cup) evenly over the phyllo. Using a sharp knife, cut the large phyllo rectangle lengthwise into 3 strips then in half crosswise to form 6 smaller rectangular strips. Beginning at the short ends, loosely roll each strip into a neat log. Repeat with the remaining phyllo and walnut mixture. Place the logs about 1/2 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets. Spray tops lightly with cooking spray and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. Bake the logs, in batches, until golden, about 25 minutes. Let cool completely. To prepare topping: Place chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe dish. Microwave on High for 30 seconds. Stir. Continue to microwave for 20-second intervals until melted, stirring after each interval. Transfer the chocolate to a plastic sandwich bag. Snip off one corner, being careful not to make the opening too large. Squeeze the melted chocolate decoratively across the top of each cooled log. Let stand at room temperature until the chocolate is completely set. My daughter and I have made these the past two years. YUMMY !!
  21. thanks so much. I bought 3 with no trouble, it let me put 3 in my cart and checked right out!
  22. I just got 2 teacup piggies at a local walgreens for 9.99. They were in the toy aisle sitting on a shelf. Only had snowflake and princess.
  23. I always go shopping at meijer but I have learned to get my paper on the way because lots of places sell out and then you're stuck driving around for awhile looking everywhere. I try to hit up a 24 hour gas station at about 5 AM.
