bargainhunter Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Does anyone know whether Burlington Coat Factory has a big sale on Black Friday? The stores prices are already really good, but an extra discount would be great.
pmdemey Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 That would be sweet!! I was at one this summer and found TOMMY shoes for my daughter for only $30.00!!!!
best4less Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 That's a good question. I went to Burlington Coat Factory for the first time during the summer. I LOVE that store now!
charmed412 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 My mom works in recieving at BCF. I see what she can find out.
Gumball Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I'm pretty sure they do have one. I can remember seeing TV commercials every year for them.
elena_398 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I believe they do. My friend went there and bought items
alimfp Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I always forget about them for some reason. I may hit them up this year if they have an ad (I don't see ads from them too often?!).
Jenniferharrison82 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I don't see ads for them too often either, but I love that store.
Marcster Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 It's an anchor store (HUGE) at our nearest mall.
sanam Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 hi, does burlington have a sale on this year.. and does any one have any experience shopping at that time...do the prices really drop. i wanna buy a coat and wondering whether i should still wait for the sale at BCF...
simonalex Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 From my experience ta Burlington coat factory, it is like a "walmart" for departmental stores. It hardly goes on sales but they always have really low prices and the stuff is great!!! They have departmental stores sale prices as regular prices. But they hardly go on sale. they have seasonal clearances and stuff but i have not seen deep discounts till now. May be they will change this time Simonalex
sanam Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 hey i have seen great coats for 80-100 dollars at BCF. do you guys think i should wait for the black friday sale to go there and check if the prices have dropped... need suggestions... i have also liked some stuff at JC penny and macy's .. should i wait for the black friday sales there too....
Anngg66 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Just a note about the store return policy if you dont really love it dont but it they only give you credit in their store. Also as far as the coats prices...you normally cant beat their prices for the quality of the item. As well as they have a VAST range of sizes. I knew I was in need of a new winter coat last year and I looked for months..completely forgetting about Burlington. Then a friend mentioned them and off I went, came home that night with my new Red Wool Coat for about 150.00 and everywhere else including online was double the price.
sanam Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 so should i wait for the BLACK friday sale or should i go before that... online they dont have much stock to show...
gijimenez Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I hope they do because they would be one of my stops.
sanam Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 will burlington be a stop for any of ya all this BLACK FRIDAY?
sanam Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 will we get any ads from burlington coat factory for BF sale
eve Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 My mom works in recieving at BCF. I see what she can find out.did you ever find out? I saw an tc comm. today about a sale. i wonder if they will have a better one on bf
sanam Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 yes even i saw a tv commercial and that is no special sale because online the prices are the same. they are just making some publicity..
eve Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 yes even i saw a tv commercial and that is no special sale because online the prices are the same. they are just making some publicity..i also checked online and didn't see any mention of a sale. i need a warm coat, it's getting so cold:mad: i hate cold:worried: should i wait or go get it now?
mrsbmb Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Just a note about the store return policy if you dont really love it dont but it they only give you credit in their store. that is the one thing that turns me off on this store. i bought my son a yellow down jacket one yr and it had washing instuctions etc. when the coat was done you could see black feathers all in the front. i thought he got the coat dirty again till i looked close and realized they used black feathers in it and there was no way to get the feathers out of the view of the coat they were inbetween the lining type thing. ewhen i took it back. that is when i found out about the return policy... they do have it posted in the store so beware. store credit only.kathy
missyjane Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 You would think that every store out there would take advantage of the day and run some kind of sale.
pbradley Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I am the receiving manager for a BCF and there are no BF sales. There are some discounts that have been going on but everything is the same. The store opens up at 9:00 a.m. where I am. If your BCF is in a mall they will follow the mall hours.
rcostanza Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I urge you NOT to shop at Burlington Coat Factory. As previously mentioned, their return policy is ridiculous and a bit insulting. No refunds, no exceptions! Period. No time-frame, doesn't matter if you have the receipt. I took a case through all the store hierarchy and much of the corporate structure, with no success. And my situation was largely their fault. I won't ever shop there again.

Not a very Christmas-shopping friendly policy... If you were to buy from my Burlington, you'd have to buy close enough to Xmas to be able for the recipient to try on the gift and still have time to return/exchange it.
sanam Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 i went to burlington this weekend and they had hardly any stock on coats . i could find none in my size . do you think they will stock up for black friday?
