:gd_partyu We have a group of ladies that make this a yearly event. Complete with manicures when we are done shopping. Any ideas to make this day more fun would be greatly appreciated.

How about a little secret santa. Everyone draws a name before BF and you have to get a BF item for that person. It would be fun to tell the horror stories of getting the gift for them.

I'd think some massages-- esp. foot massages would be great after all that walking around and standing in line.

Maybe a wrapping party after the shopping?

And a big glass of wine! Or whatever restores your spirit....:slaphappy

A little off-topic, but I was thinking of throwing a pre-BF party. After TG dinner, we all hangout at someone's place (drinky drinky) or a bar (doubt that anything will be open). And then at 2/3 am go straight in-line.

Not too drunk though, I don't want to spend BF in a jail cell in L.A.:)

I think that sbhiggins has a great idea in wrapping the presents. Going straight to someone's home and wrapping gifts together would be a great way to talk and laugh about the day plus knock out some work. How great would it be to go home and not worry about the kids or husband for that matter peeking in the bags before you get the presents wrapped.

I always meet my family after shopping for lunch. Compare stories and give items to the person I had to buy for. My friend and I usually gets together the weekend after and wrap presents

take the secret santa, and run with it. Don't pick names just buy a great gift (inexpensive but tasteful, of course) Whoever comes up with the most creative wrapping at your wrapping party gets first pick of the already wrapped "secret" gifts. I would love that idea.

I'm already getting my wrapping supplies together for some fabulous trimmings on the gifts to suit my family and friends. 2/$1.00 ornaments etc to place on the packages.

This one would be a lot of fun! I hate to wrap, but doing it as a group would make the task much more enjoyable!:clapping:

I thought this was about parties BEFORE BF. And I'm thinking, "Yeah, just what I need.. to drink before Black Friday!" :lolrun:

I'm not sure I could do a party afterwards.. that'd be pushing it. This year, IF I am not working, I'll probably just come home and pass out.
