Marcster
Since this is my first couple of days on Gottadeal, I was wondering... Personally, I don't find the deals to be as great, unless you are looking for Christmas decorations, wrapping paper, or Christmas cards, but I don't have kids, so I'm not looking for toys, etc. My tip for after-Christmas sales, buy some non-Christmasy wrapping paper. You can use it for other occasions (Mother's/Father's, adult's B-Days, etc.), but your buying it at clearance prices!

amani
The day after Christmas you don't have anything to look forward to, but the day after Thanksgiving bills. LOL LOL
Gporter34
Yes, I get this excited for the day after, too. I always buy extra decorations for next year. Last year I got the huge inflatables for my yard that were regularly 79.99 for 90% off. I got three of those.lol I also got alot of smaller decorations because eventually I want nothing but Christmas in every room for the holidays. If it weren't for that, no, I probably wouldn't even go the day after.
littlezar
The day after Christmas I'm shopping for my Hallmark ornaments half price. When stuff goes 75% or more, then I look for paper I could use for birthdays, ribbon, bows, any really cute decorations for us or to use as gifts for the following year. Marcster
The day after Christmas you don't have anything to look forward to, but the day after Thanksgiving bills. LOL LOLI think this year will be our first without touching a credit card.
Stowasser
What stores have stuff that is 90% day after Christmas? Target takes 7 days to go to 75% so just curious if we might have those stores that do 90%......
Gporter34
Our CVS was 90% on the 26th last year because they had just bought out our Eckerd's. All of their decorations had Eckerds on it so it was ALL 90% off. We loaded up.
bayhaysay
Wish I could but we still have family Christmas gatherings going on the day after Christmas.
Steakgoddess
Not the day after...that is for admiring the presents, setting up the kids stuff and just lazing the day away. A few days after, I am at Wal-Mart and Target for my color themed wrapping paper. I think I will search for red and green this year.
alimfp
It's usually a week or two following Christmas when I find the GOOD deals.. but it's usually only on holiday decor and stuff. Personally, I am recovering from presents and eating the day after Christmas. :)
oldandintheway
Maybe this is because I'm such a shopaholic, but I like going out on Dec. 26 to see what's left over that I know I can get great deals on in the following week. I normally get most of the items bought for Birthday and Christmas gifts during the two to three weeks following Christmas.
cami_reardon
I do. Well, sort of. I'll go and buy some things then but I usually wait 3 or 4 days and still find gobs of good deals. It's even better when it goes 90%. (can't remember for sure but it's usually like a week after or so).
pcsoon
The day after Christmas is the pits for bargains IMO. Best to save your time and money. :)
Hummingbird
I usually go out onthe 26th because I have a nephew who's birthday is the 26th and niece who's birthday is the 30th of Dec. Great time to buy the birthday presents.
elena_398
I bought tons after christmas at Walmart. I bought my mother-in-law a bath set regularly $24.99 ofr $5. My daughter loves lip gloss etc so I found different makeup sets for younger girls for only .80 down from $3. Bought my christmas cards for this year for less that .75. Wrapping paper for my kids presents for only .50 a roll. Tags for .12 each. I love after christmas sales!
genoandkiddo
I think the sales aren't as good as BF, plus you don't really get great deals. If you wait a few weeks you can get rolls of wrapping paper for .25.
Tessangel
Yep I love to go out after Christmas! I buy lots of stuff for birthdays then because right after christmas I am a slew of birthdays! I also buy lots of christmas ornaments and decorations!
AuntJamelle
I really enjoy doing some shopping on Dec 26th - but I don't always make it out. But I am definitely not as excited as I get for BF. My usual trouble is that I have a WAY smaller budget by that point in the holiday season.
jadedmomof2
I don't usually go out on Dec. 26th, but will go out on Jan 1st instead. The stores are dead, and the clearance prices are lower than they were on the 26th.
cuteboynoah
The day after Christmas is my favorite day, I buy lots of presants for next year and birthdays throughout the year. I get wrapping paper, boxes, decorations. I go alone, without kids--my husband has to take off work that day, it's a rule!
erh12275
Not so much. This year may be a lil more than others as I have to buy all my Christmas decorations again....left ALL of ours in IL.
