whafs8 Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I can't wait to buy the Disney one. We had a blast with the original one. I really like the shout out movies dvd's also
Hummingbird Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 We were able to get eh Disney Scene It game at Sears last year. We either paid 19.99 or 24.99 for it. DH picked it up while we were all at the mall so I can't remember the price, but I do know it was on sale.
renda460 Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 We bought both the Scene it DVD and the Shout about the Movies last year to play at Christmas - everyone liked the Shout games alot better than the scene it ones. (and they are a bit cheaper Amazon has them for 18.99 I picked up the newer version for us to play this Christmas... so I won't be able to comment on them yet, but I know I can't wait! ---- leah - newly addicted to this siteI got the Shout About Movies during the TRU BOGO sale. So they only cost $10 each. However I have seen some bad reviews about the game only being able to be played 3 times before you are repeating questions. Is this true?
gijimenez Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I love this game. We have family night every weekend and let me say that I am the Scene champion. I can answer the questions before they finnish the question.
gijimenez Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Have never tried the shout game maybe I would since its cheaper. I still get new questions in the scene game altought the sour losers have said that I stay home all weekend just memorizing the answers.
Postal Phil Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Shout about the movies is ok unless you have a good memory. Each game on a disk is the same everytime you play it the same questions in the same order. Scene It radomizes its questions so each time its different.
mrsbmb Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I bought this for my kids last christmas and they really loved it. they were 10 and 12 at the time. kathy
Jenniferharrison82 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 The disney edition sounds like it would be great for my son, he knows the disney movies too..
elena_398 Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 I cannot wait to try it out. Im thinking the Scene It Jr would be good too for my 11 yr old.
toninjack Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Kohls.com has Scene It Games $29.99 and you can get 30% off if you use your Kohls charge card and enter promo code savethirty. (Code is only good until the 15th) Hope this helps someone.
Gporter34 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Can't wait to play this game. But I will have to wait til Christmas!lol
Illinoismom Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Scene It, Scene it JR and ESPN scene it and I think but dont quote me Scene it Disney are all 26.00 at Walmart, I am looking for the warner Brothers addition
sperdue Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I have the original Scene It Deluxe with the extra bonus dvd. It does randomize the questions, so you dont see duplicates often. Everyone that comes to my house loves to play it. Our favorite part is the "party mode". It just spouts off questions and you yell out the answers.
paynema Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 We have Disney Scene It with the DVD. We got it after my aunt told me about the original Scene it game. I'm such a Disney nut - I had to get it so I could compete with my aunts and cousins. My husband was beating me - but it was fun. We ordered ours off Amazon when it was on sale over the summer. I didn't know they had version that plugged in though. I think the best I've seen it is $16.99, we bought ours at $19.99.
