queenofshopping
How are you planning to work the whole midnight-vs-5am thing? Will you just stay at the store for five hours if you want things from both start times?
angied64084
I'm heading in @ 11 or so...get my 12:01 goodies and check out shortly after. I'm not after any big electronic items though. Plan to grab an energy drink so food if necessary and move along to target for their 4 am doorbusters. Headed to kohls after that, then home depot, then jcp. If I have any $$ left after that, I'll head to micheals to get some scrap booking goodies for myself. So pumped for black Friday this year! zim05
I do not need any of the 5am doorbuster (at least not at Wal-Mart) but want some of the movies and Blu-Rays. So I'm dropping my sister off at Target around 12:30-1am then I'll run across town to Wal-Mart and pick up a few of the midnight items and get back over to Target. Since it's a smaller town and some people will probably be confused about the two sale times, I expect to get everything I want and still be first over at Target...if everything goes according to plan that is. After Target we'll head over to a larger town (that also has a bigger Target and a Wal-Mart) and hit up Best Buy, Herberger's, Bath & Body Works, Schells, Michaels, Hallmark and Pier 1. But I have not seen some of these ads yet and will determine next week depending on their sales and how tired I am with little to no sleep... fabnsab
I feel like walmart is holding me hostage this year! Since the store will be teeming with people starting at 12, many will just hang around for the 5am doorbusters since they're already there, which means I have to get there that early too if I want a 5am doorbuster(3 tvs-yikes). Gone are the days of me getting to walmart at 2 and always getting what I want They are smart though...holding us hostage keeps us from spending our money elsewhere. By the time I leave walmart, i wont have a snowballs chance of getting a doorbuster at target.
davephillyj
If they hold you there for 5 hours......you will buy other things NOT on special......VERY SMART on their part! LOL BAD FOR US THOUGH!
amberjobryant
If they hold you there for 5 hours......you will buy other things NOT on special......VERY SMART on their part! LOL BAD FOR US THOUGH! which is exactly why i will not go to walmart this year, they had very little to start with that i wanted and now the two sales times, no thanx....i will go somewhere else even if it means a few cents more in price! genoandkiddo
I am seriously debating on how to do the doorbusters, cause I really want ($98 TV) but I also want some of the doorbusters at Target. I will be going at midnight to get their deals on BLU rays. Why Walmart? Why.............?

KimberlySA
I'm not going after any of the 5am doorbusters, so I'll hit Walmart around 11:30, then home for a few hours before heading out to get in line at 3 am at our local mall.

barc
We'll be heading to WM around 8:00 tonight and start lining up for the 19" TV's and emachine laptops. There will be four of us and we will get two of each, unless they aren't limited to one per customer in which case we'll be getting a third TV.
