digman6 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 not very impressed at all. I was hoping for a cheaper laptop or netbook for my 11 and 14 yr old.
BigSlama912 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 yea... maybe just a couple blu rays... thats about it though. Was dissapointed for about the 3rd year in a row. They have gone downhill every since circuit city went out of business
countingcrow Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) I like:$60 Toshiba Blu-Ray playerCompaq Netbook, although battery life is weakNook doorbuster dealVideo Game system packagesSamsung Laptop SaleMajor Appliance deals1 Penny Fascinate or Incredible Don't like:All other laptop deals suckNo generic TV's for cheap besides 24" Overall good ad, but surely some Dynex or Insignia TV's will match or beat Wal-Mart and Target's ad, right? Laptop deals are atrocious. Edited November 12, 2010 by countingcrow saw that movie page was missing
countingcrow Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Just to remind everyone, Best Buy had a lot of early Black Friday deals last year that were the same price or better then the BF ad that came out like a week ahead of time. They had a "Black Friday NOW" ad. This won't be everything they got, I can assure you, especially for computers and tv's.
SweetCanela Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I have a busted printer that I was thinking about getting fixed but I might just get the one listed here for 29.99 I can't find it any where on-line though for the specs and what ink cartridges it takes. (I have left over from my old printer and they are expensive so it would be great if they took the same ones!) It's the Epson Stylus NX1217 All-in-One Printer, but again I cannot find it on the Epson website, Amazon.com nothing. Can anyone more tech savvy than me help me out?
Buckeye Shopper Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Does anyone have an opinion on the samsung french door refrigerator. I'm in the market for a new one, it's a fairly descent price but samsung is really hit or miss with the reviews of appliances. It's a little over 100.00 cheaper on BF.
countingcrow Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 i want to say it uses the newer 125 series of ink for the NX series.
BFAddict716 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Where are the tv series on dvd??? What a sad year
SweetCanela Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 i want to say it uses the newer 125 series of ink for the NX series. Thanks Counting Crow. I know the one I have uses 69. On the Epson site some of the new NX series do use 125 some use 69. So I'll keep in mind perhaps I can't use my ink if I buy that, that may be a determining factor in getting it or not. If anyone else knows for sure I'm all ears!
nhughes Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 What a poor selections on desktops. Not good at all.Disappointed.Guess I'll be waiting for K-Marts,and Walmarts
Brad Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 OK, updated scan with all the pages (hopefully, lol)
Tigger97498 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Im trying to help a friend who wants the $60 blu-ray player. Does anyone know whether it will be available online too and if so what time? Im assuming she'd have better luck getting it online than in store unless she camped out and was up toward the front.
Chuck Stank Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I knew I should have got that $500 Quad-Core desktop package they had last year.
SweetCanela Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Okay now I got it! On the list it is listed as Epson Stylus NX1217 All-in-One Printer but in reality on the scan and Epson site it is Epson Stylus NX127 . Now I am all set and yes it does take the 125 cartridge.
Iliveforblckfri Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Walmart had last weekend the ITunes cards $50 for $35 limit 2 per person. I got two of them. That deal was better than BB. Costco usually puts these on sale too. I was happy to get mine at WalMart last week, but I am hoping to get some of the sets of 15.00 cards to use as giveaways at work.
riven3d Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Now i have to see what kind of money i have and if the blue ray players will be available online or not, question is the $60 or the $90 that comes with WIFI connectivity. I am thinking the more expensive one because of that fact all depends on what Walmart has with their deal
pogiporkchop Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I've said no printers for DH unless it was a wireless one and what do I find in the ad? A really good deal!
Ralexander84 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 What are your opinions on the Sony vaio laptop upgrade to 4gb ram and bluray, that seems to be a pretty good deal to me
Geomike Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I'll get the Bon Jovi Greatest Hits, Prince of Persia (so far)
Klownicle Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Just to remind everyone, Best Buy had a lot of early Black Friday deals last year that were the same price or better then the BF ad that came out like a week ahead of time. They had a "Black Friday NOW" ad. This won't be everything they got, I can assure you, especially for computers and tv's. Don't get your hopes up, those "secret" deals that come out online were preety crappy also. Every year just keeps getting worse and worse. Terrible. The netbook is a great deal, but thats about it. I mean seriously 89.99 for a 1TB external? Target has the 2TB for 69.99, what are they smokin!?!
peppysfireball Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Just buy online. I got doorbusters online at midnight last year and plan to do the same again sincer there is no best buy in my town.
countingcrow Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 What are your opinions on the Sony vaio laptop upgrade to 4gb ram and bluray, that seems to be a pretty good deal to me If you have to have Blu-Ray it is an ok deal, but this week Best Buy has a similar specced machine without the Blu from Toshiba for $449. The Toshiba uses the newer and faster i3 processor. The Sony is using the older Pentium DC, so efficiency will be a concern (battery life and heat). Again, if you want a portable blu-ray player get it, otherwise look for better deal with similar specs. The Ogio bag is nice, however, so maybe if you want the full package it may be worth it.
digman6 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 willl that netbook be something i can get online?? I need one for my daughter but she will be my helper, so can not hardly get it with her standing by my side. i should ask does anyone know how food it is?? she wants to use it to surf net , play games, facebook that short of thing.
Brad Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 Okay now I got it! Thanks for the correction. I'll update the listing. I was rushing to get the ad typed up, so mistakes are going to be there.
countingcrow Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 willl that netbook be something i can get online?? I need one for my daughter but she will be my helper, so can not hardly get it with her standing by my side. i should ask does anyone know how food it is?? she wants to use it to surf net , play games, facebook that short of thing. It's fast enough to do one thing at once, but don't even try to multitask and run too many programs at once. It can easily handle web surfing and facebook. I know people who can play WoW on a netbook, so it can handle basic games and WoW, but not any modern graphical games.
siillyy2000 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Wow seem's Target has the better deals this year . I hope I can do most online , best buys suks this year
SherryDA1964 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 The Panasonic receiver I will be ordering online @ midnight. They can keep everything else.....Major disappointing.....
SuggaD Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Just buy online. I got doorbusters online at midnight last year and plan to do the same again sincer there is no best buy in my town. Some of the doorbusters are online, but not all. The bigger draw items never are. But with these prices, they might as well put everything online.
bigjimslade Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I really like the ad! I now know what time I will be in line :)
nick_jenni_jocelyn Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 OMFG.... my red, front load washer and dryer are $1,000 for the pair. I think I might have to be an extra, super good wife from here on out to get those, lol.
