Need to get ipod touch with the gift card for 40.00 and also want the nook for 49.00 were will i find them in the store will they be locked up in case ? any suggestions on how to get them when there will be a swarm of people

the price match issue was i needed to bring the item and the reciept to do it. I said heck with that....I had the reciept from item at home went repurchased for the lower price and went from check out to return counter with the item and my old reciept and done. all they did was make one more item to put back on the shelf when they could of just did the adjustment in first place

I also plan to hit the midnight sale. My friend who has all her shopping done is going with to help me get the items on my list. While she goes one way I will go the other way :). I think if you look at maps you can plan what will work best for your needs

good thing to know when we tried to do potatoes one other time my husband made them. he added milk almost immediatly and they where so lumpy i hated it haha

I dont ever make mash potatoes accept from a box lol. so how do I make good mash potatoes from scratch for 11 people ? 4 are adults the rest are kids ages 14-4 years old. my mom always made great mash potatoes but unfortunalty asking her is no longer a option.

I am on my Acer laptop right now. I bought mine at Staples and love it , its used all the time by 5 people in the house. I was told that the Dell I was looking at and the Acer I bought are very similar in quality etc. I was also told that my Acer had something on it that made it better then the Dell I was eyeing. He said he would take the Acer and the price difference was this one was about 20.00 LESS. I know not a huge difference but he could of tried to sell me something that cost more and had less but he didnt.

if this is true oh my god it is going to be a mob !! even if it is a older model tv I know for myself I would be interested for our movie room where the kids have toys and game systems set up. I think that there will be a stampede with the sales starting at midnight and 5 am let alone other specials like the one you are hearing....guess we will see !!

i cant see what that is on the front page of the thanksgiving ad as far as that 89.99 item. is that a portable dvd player or a netbook? if it is a net book what kind etc. i cant seem to zoom in enough to read details

ok i did some baking and it all went well the premaking of lunch was a dream ! lol i also froze the pretzels and choc. however we should not of tried thtem that way....we ate a LOT of them hahaha . the plan is kick into gear and do some more baking. it really does take a long time to get things made. it was fun though for everyone

i feel your pain!!! my kids dont really want anything in the ads. My 11 year old wants jewlery ( cheaper kind) so targets 5.00 heart will be bought. other wise its clothes, a couple games like Loops and those things that are not in the darn ads. My son who is 14 wants a few xbox items but again nothing in the ad....I am not sure what the heck I am going to do. maybe if they look through the ads on here they will see something that they had not thought of?? I can only hope.I know the only thing that my 11 yr old does want is a laptop or netbook but I am not certain I want to go that route. our 8 year old wants a couple books, justin B shirt, a Chicago Bears shirt, a game and some necklaces and braclets . The 4 year old wants thomas the train with the flashlight, the dog you walk , and many other things so at least I have choices if they are not on sale. I can not figure out how the other 3 have very little listed....are they not well??? lol Lets hope for some surprise deals!

can i get that netbook thats 149.00 online ?? i can not be in line on wednesday ....the soonest i would be in line would be sometime late thursday. guess if that wont work i am out of luck

i ordered something from amazon and was suppose to get a gift card or something from them last year, and i never did. i decided after trying over and over that amazon would not take me like that again. i order but never exspecting gcards or points or anything. feels like a bate and switch to me . i hope you get your points!!!!!!!!!!!!!

willl that netbook be something i can get online?? I need one for my daughter but she will be my helper, so can not hardly get it with her standing by my side. i should ask does anyone know how food it is?? she wants to use it to surf net , play games, facebook that short of thing.

that is a excellent idea to vaccume seal what you make. I think the biggest challenge is organizing this so it is not crazy and unorganized lol..... i think to save time I will make a batch of sloppy joe so we can eat when we want without taking out more " stuff" . i am appreciating all these suggestions and ideas thanks so much keep them coming if anyone has any more.

not very impressed at all. I was hoping for a cheaper laptop or netbook for my 11 and 14 yr old.

I know my son who is 14 said, he wouldnt be caught dead in them lol. He wears jeans from Aero that have holes in them and are not as fitted as the skinny jean. I thought those who wear skinny jeans probably wonder why people buy jeans with holes lol. My husband said, I dont get any of it at all. The kids are lucky I am around to buy clothes who knows how their dad would have them dressed !

I have baked in past and froze cookies and pulled them out a week later and they have been fine as well. I just wasnt sure if I had them in there from now until Christmas if it would change. I see you mention tins as well for your freezing. I had not thought of that, I was always used to using tupperware cause I have so much on hand lol. I will besure not to freeze pretzels but guessing most other candies are fair game to be frozen ??? thanks for tips. It should be a lot of fun.....I hope anyhow :)

Thanks for the ideas I am going to the taste of home site for recipes ! Thanks for the ideas they are being added to the list of things to make :). I plan to bake all season off and on but wanted to get a jump start on some of it now. I bought a bunch of those cookie dough tubs from my daughter so figured that would be the begining of the baking season lol.

My daughter and her 2 sisters are going to bake with my friend and her 2 sons and daughter.I know some things you make you can freeze and defrost and it taste fine. However is there anything baking wise that if i freeze and defrost that the taste is not so great later?? so far it looks like your basic choc chip, PB etc candy wise turtles, pretzels with choc. if anyone has any other recipes to make let me know also! We dont have many reciepes so looking for fun simple things. thanks again !

I was thinking the same thing a online layaway would be great ! I have 2 bdays and xmas in those 30 days and storage is not easy with 4 kids to buy for lol

as far as an Ipod goes i would not get one for my 8 yr. old. my 11 yr old has one with a screen and it is a few yrs old . she would like a touch but is happy with the one she has also.her sister who is 8 got her old shuffle and has misplaced it. its here but who knows where at.

1josh my 2 older children have cell phones they are 14 and 11, our other 2 kids who are 8 and 4 do not. the reason behind my kids have the phones and they have had them now for 2 years is because of school activities they are in after school. I also do not want my kids walking home alone after school with no communication if they where to get hurt etc. I live in a small town and close to school but it was originally more for communication between point A and B. SInce then we have cancelled our home phone because it was not used by us much. My son uses his to talk with his buddies and we have access to it when we want. He is also responsible and takes care of it, is a honor roll student and does not get in trouble. My daughter who is 11 really never uses it unless she calls her cousin or her bf wants to talk to her. her phone is usually off here at home often enough the bf texts me asking if she would turn her phone on! lol Do my younger 2 kids think they need a phone yep, will they get one hell no!!! those 2 younger kids are with somone who has a phone at all times so they dont need one. if it was as you said where the parents are not together that is more then acceptable for the child to have a phone. I thiink it really depends on the situation at hand
