goldie
We have Costco membership... wonder if this is worth it? We usually do not go out all out for Xmas (gift wise), so it'll be only for everyday essentials.
dealluvr
i dont like these stores that much as i never buy in bulk enough to make it worth it. but i figure in 15 weeks i can stock up on enough stuff ;toilet paper, soap, stuff like that,so i wont have to buy it on a regular basis thru the winter at least. i hate lugging heavy stuff in the snow
Jasmine35
I wonder if they will have any video game bundle packs on sale?
tinkrbel
Just a thought, but I just checked website and the annual membership shows as $40 so comes out to less over long haul. It's not really a deal but useful if people want to avoid the surcharge charged to nonmembers over holiday season. Also, they're BF sales may be worth it? Looks like they had a very nicely priced laptop last year. Edited October 1, 2010 by tinkrbel
dealluvr
for people on unemployment like myself i think it is an ok deal. $15 i can part with better than $
amickeyfan
I just did the numbers too.. it isn't that great of a deal unless you just cannot come up with the full membership fee. The $15 for 15 weeks comes to nearly $60 if you were to pay it to cover the entire year..for $40 you get 52 weeks.. If you take the $40 and figure that out for 15 weeks, it comes to $11.54 per week.. just my 2 cents on it...
BFQueenofNY
They do it every year. If you have no other membership, it's good for the holidays if you entertain alot. Most have very good food options (better than BJ's IMHO) I bought some Frank and Dean cd's for my mother in law that were nice.
AStamper3
Does anyone know of a deal on Sam's Club membership? I see this one expired on 10/10. Thanks
Kibit13
I haven't seen any lately. I just wanted to add that the $15 for 15 week memberships are good for people who are unsure if it is worth it for them to join full-time. Sam's is good for my parents (I was checking this thread for them), but for my DH and I it isn't worth it. Especially now that the one close to us closed.
