steff
I am looking for the Loving Family Dollhouse for my 4 year old DD. TRU has the mega set for 159.00, The Fisher Price site shows it for 100.00. What is the difference between these two sets? Also do you think the van is included with the mega site or just the dollhouse version of this. Thanks for your help its driving me crazy.
my4bearcubs
The TRU set includes 6 additional rooms of furniture and 2 additional figures that their site said is exclusive to TRU. I read the description and it sounds like a really nice set. There is so much included. I may have to add that to my list for my DD.
elicia423126
I bought the mega set for my DD last year, and she plays with it everyday! It doesn't come with a van, I don't think any sets do. You have to buy that separate.
Briasmom
My DD also wants one of these from "Santa" this year. I think as long as you buy that brand dollhouse you will get a free van. Your DD is lucky, there is no way "our santa" is buying the Mega one. We'll make do with the $69 version.lol
elicia423126
I just noticed that in the Big Book you get the van free with the house.

What's the value on the van. I look at that as being a discount on the price of the dollhouse. And I know when I was that age I wanted to drive.... elicia423126
I personally don't think it will be on sale for BF. However, you could buy now, save your receipt and return if it does go on sale at some time. Toys R Us just had a B1G1 on the doll house accessories in October, they usually do this again around Easter. I remember that is when I bought the remaining sets for my DD. Hope that helps a little. Rose0426
I remember last year that they had a B1G1 on all Loving Family stuff, not just furniture. I remember seeing people buying 2 houses at a time when they were in stock. If you know someone else who wants one, that would be a great savings for you. ellen zachariia
thank you all. I bought my DD the Family Grand not the Mega at TRU for 69.99 and it came with a free mini-van value of 22.99. I figure she can play with it as is and then after the holidays I will take her to pick-out what furniture she wants.
