I went to Walmart today and they had a man dressed up as Santa and some people that were dressed as elves with bags that say holiday helpers. They were walking around handing out mini candy canes to kids. No one directed me to a line I had to chose for myself. If this is their plan it stinks...just more people getting in the way of my basket when I'm on a mission

I simply tell them that Santa can't bring anything mommy or daddy didn't give permission to bring. I explained that each November Santa meets with parents to discuss Christmas lists and behavior etc, this way if you tell them no and Santa doesn't bring it they'll know it was discussed and agreed upon.lol

I think the best time for buying those things is January/February. I usually see great deals at toysrus/BabiesRUs and target during that time.

How about a gift card to a coffee shop or breakfast place? Here in New England Dunkin Donuts is on every corner so I usually grab a $10 or so card. This way they can grab a donut or breakfast item or choose from several types of drinks if they are not into coffee.

I got ours today. I didn't request one this year, but I use my rewards a lot and we are part of Geoffrey's birthday club so that may go off those lists too. You may automatically get one sometime this week.Fingers crossed for you!

I live in Newington and got my book on Wednesday night. That sucks that yours hasn't come yet. Last year I was on the mailing list and never got one. so I have no clue on their logic.

dd wanted this for christmas last year. If you can hold off a bit try waiting to see what deals they have at TRU. I bought the house in October for 59.99 that came with the backyard set and the family and was able to get the van for free. They also usually run BOGO sales throughout the year so thats when dd gets new furniture. U can also sign up for the bday club and they will send you Q's to use!

I got pop star for Wii (It's like guitar hero) for $7.48 at Target right before Thanksgiving. I will definitely go check out walmart tomorrow since DD and I would love this.

I think you can go to the rewards r us site and get a temporary card. if memory serves me correctly. However, I also see the my TRU gives you the card as soon as you sign up in store.

Sorry about that. I got an email from leapfrog saying save $10 on Zippity, but failed to see the Target part. so it was just talking about targets sale. Oh well, still have the q from the juice boxes:no:.

There is also a Leapfrog q for $10 off the zippity on the Leapfrog site and on packages of Juicy Juice right now to make this even cheaper.

Even if I get one in the mail I'm still going to get one in the paper and cross my fingers that they have two different sets of coupons:D

My DD also wants one of these from "Santa" this year. I think as long as you buy that brand dollhouse you will get a free van. Your DD is lucky, there is no way "our santa" is buying the Mega one. We'll make do with the $69 version.lol
