In the small print under the TV it says, "Limit 1 per guest, except in ID or NM" So I would give the money to his friend for the 2nd one.

I asked my husband, who's a musician. He said it depends on your son's needs. If he's just playing for himself, it should be fine. If he plays in a band, his opinion is it wouldn't be powerful enough to compete with a drummer. As for the brand, quality, etc. No opinion since he buys mostly brand name pricey stuff for recording purposes.

The outside of the house will be done Thanksgiving weekend. The master bedroom tree goes up the following weekend. Our main tree won't go up until Christmas Eve morning. This is our first year having a dog. So I'm not sure how the whole dog vs. tree thing will go. Wish us luck!

This is me!!! I guess you can say that my budget is what I have saved in the Christmas savings account. But I bought so much on sale already and haven't touched the account yet.

I think it's about 11 this year plus shopping for the various charities.

Last year it was Macy's of all stores! I'm not a big Macy's shopper in general, I'm more of a Target girl. But last year I needed a big, rolling suitcase and wanted a good price. I searched everywhere and they were all smaller than I wanted and more than I wanted to pay. So my final stop on BF before the Door Buster hours were over was Macy's. I was only going there for the super cute slippers they had but decided to look at their luggage while I was there. So glad I did! I got a designer 29" rolling suitcase that was marked over $400 for $100! It was already on sale and they gave me the additional % off even though I didn't think they would. So score!

Thanksgiving is called Black Friday Eve in my house. I get up early Thursday morning and go grab the local papers. Head over to Starbucks for a Gingerbread latte and then go back home to look at the ads. Thanks to GottaDeal I pretty much already know what I'm going to buy but I still go over the paper ads anyway. It's tradition. We watch the parade while I'm doing all this. As the ads become available online, I start shopping. The past 2 years most of my BF shopping was done before Friday! At some point I make turkey dinner. It's just us 4 and only my DH and I really eat any of the food. The kids really aren't into it all. I think not having family out here makes Thanksgiving less of a holiday for us. My parents are saying they are coming out this year, so maybe things will be different. But BF Eve will go on!!! Friday I usually head out around 4:00AM since Sports Authority is my first stop. I avoid the big stores on BF. I don't need a TV or laptop or whatever it is they are selling that makes you get there days in advance. I do love reading about those of you that camp out though. This board has made my BF's a million times more fun!!!

My favorite will always be the $300 I won at Sports Authority last year. I went in for the BOGO1/2 on socks of all things. I needed them for my running/upcoming marathon. I was just hoping for a $10 gift card since the amounts were between $10 - $300. $10 would have paid for my socks. $300 paid for sooooo much more.

I would want the 3rd ring for my anniversary ring set. Hubby replaced my wedding rings earlier this year with the anniversary set but he knows nothing about "balance."

I have a few things for my boys that I got on clearance throughout the year. I've been really itching to get busy on Christmas shopping though. There is so much more to do! Last night I got all excited because I saw something on QVC that I know my boys will LOVE! They're called Magformers. I can't wait for them to open that Christmas morning. Also we're getting my 9 year old his first electric guitar. I know he'll be so excited! I can't wait!!!

Our card went out yesterday. Many prayers for Noah and his family.
