I bought the 2TB drive on Saturday - there weren't a lot on the shelves. I'm hoping I can get a price adjustment on Friday morning.

They closed the nearest Walgreens by me. I also plan to visit Gap and Gymboree at the little upscale mall near me where it should be fairly quiet.

This is news. Paramus has very strict laws about not opening before 7 AM or opening on Sundays. I assume this would affect other Paramus stores on the Rt 4 and Rt 17 strips - like Kohls, Kmart etc. http://www.northjersey.com/news/112210_Stores_at_Paramus_malls_to_open_at_5_am_on_Black_Friday.html I usually avoid that area and do my shopping in less crowded Hackensack which has no restrictions!

I just picked up the WD 2 TB drive, hoping for a price adjustment. One less thing to worry about.

Got the Shoprite circular today. These are the *2* day specials. One year when the special was a VCR/DVD player, we were able to get on Thanksgiving day as the price was already in the computer!

Has anyone ever bought a refurb Wii or Xbox-360? Considering getting one - does it come with ANY games/controllers or would I need to get more stuff and end up not saving much? What is the warantee?

I'm in the market for a new monitor on BF. My new computer has both VGA and HDMI inputs for a monitor - so I'm looking at HDMI. I am not sure what size monitor to get, I know that for the monitor to fit where I need it - it can't be wider than 21" or 22" across, height is not a problem. Any suggestions? All I've seen is the 99.00 monitor at Staples on sale. Thanks.

When I mentioned this forum was open, my husband asked if the first ad was out yet - Ace Hardware! I'm looking forward to it, I need a new monitor (if I don't give in beforehand). Sadly I'm job hunting and might start a new job in November and have to work Black Friday!!!

Got up around 4:15, decided to go Target around 4:50 - got there about 5:05. Went in and was surprised to get the 3.00 coffee maker. browsed around got some other stuff (not all BF deals), finally decided to see if dsi's were left. found the line by photos for video games, got on it -was able to get one. they just checked out the dsi so i had to get the rest on another line. But ended up with 2 over 100.00 purchase gift cards this way. then to staples by 7:30 - was able get Norton and the CD's. this was the first year I wasn't at staples opening for the CD's. Did miss the free calculator, but have enough of them. Then off to the upscale quiet mall and gap/gymboree. Got what I wanted there also :) Then decided to try toys r us for one non-sale item. Line was way too long after 9 AM so I left. (I'll go back another day or use the one near my office.) Stopped at Sears and found 9.99 jeans and slipper socks for me. Lastly hit Rite Aide for their TDK CD's - no problem. They only had one hot wheel left of the 2 for 1.00 sale, so I passed. So a successful day, got what I needed the most!

Yes, they did the same in the Hackensack Target. However by the time I'd gotten online for the DSi and was done, the regular lines shortened up quite a bit.

Ended up buying the 79.99 one at CVS - ordered it online and got a 10.00 coupon, so that it came to 69.99 shipped (Plus tax). Next best deal I saw was today's (T-day) Sylvania @ Walmart 78.00 + .97 shipping (plus tax)

Just got mine about 15 minutes ago. Surprised to get a Walmart circular!

Another Nintendo DSI deal I've seen was 164 at Shoprite supermarkets. No bundled software as far as I can tell, but it will be a lot less crowded. Also, you *may* be able to get it on Thanksgiving day - a few years back I was able to get the BF DVD/VCR player a day earlier as the price was in the system.

Anyone know what games are in the DSI bundles? I'm interested in the Mario one can't make out what the bundle is in the ad.

There's one @ Walgreens for 79.99 also. I bought the mini 10" TV there last year for my SIL and it's great - she sat it on a kitchen counter and watches cable on it a lot. Wonder if the 7" is as good?

Is the ad out for it - I thought I saw it online?

Can we discuss the mini 7" TV's that are showing up for BF? I've seen them around 99.00 - but have no idea how good they are? (I want to replace my obsolete TV radio I had for emergencies.)
